20/4/2006 14:53 | I read on a BB that Nugget has started training and may be back for the second play off semi | fozdad
20/4/2006 14:51 | Stand will be built and not based on promotion | mr kingsley2
20/4/2006 14:50 | very confident this time,but we do lack a proven goalscorer. | mr kingsley2
19/4/2006 10:32 | i think that the last stand will be demolished and depending on your point of veiw that means that the last stand is being started. on the season as a whole i think we are a commanding position , the only team in any sort of form , players who are highly motivated and i think the main difference between this time and last is that we have alot of young quick players , myers , whalley , hill , davis , etc etc this coupled with the older more experienced player should see us through into the promised land | tmccooey
23/2/2006 20:48 | The last stand will be started by AUGUST 2006 | mr kingsley2
22/2/2006 15:20 | Read an article in last nights evening post i think plans are afoot to complete the stadium reading between the lines. | mr kingsley2
16/2/2006 13:17 | good point at Southampton onwards and upwards.Time to buy | mr kingsley2
12/2/2006 15:25 | Nice solid performance 5-1 victory play offs looking good, still in f.a.cup must be worth a punt little downside.A recent purchase by a london stock broker taking his holding over the 3% disclosure level now looking very good value. | mr kingsley2
10/2/2006 19:13 | eriktherock Thanks will take a closer look next week, appears to be minimal downside and excellent upside if they can have cup run and reach the play offs, then its a one in four chance of reaching the prem. | mr kingsley2
10/2/2006 16:32 | Mkt Cap £4m approx. I season in the Premiership will cause some serious adjustment! | eriktherock
10/2/2006 16:27 | crfc63 Crewe are looking for bids of 8 million do you know Prestons market cap.i believe it is not agreat deal more than that but we probably have more debt. | mr kingsley2
08/2/2006 13:18 | Good win last night - Home game for 5th round and good chance that they will make the play offs again. Thinking of buying back in again after the disappoinment of missing out on promotion last season. The extra games (FA cup and possible play offs) must help reduce the lossses. | crfc63
02/2/2006 12:58 | Anyone any views. | mr kingsley2
01/2/2006 19:32 | Potential F.A.cup run could be on the cards could give income a much needed boost.Excellent display last night against Crystal Palace reinforces my view of a possible play off place.Worth a punt. | mr kingsley2
26/1/2006 13:41 | If PNE manage to get through the transfer window without losing key players while adding to the squad must have a great chance of the play offs.Could go one better this time must be a buy upto 1.20 with limited down side. The squad is valued in the accounts very conservative. | mr kingsley2
02/6/2005 13:49 | Not in his case really, he had to buy then. Imagine the cost of buying them if they won. However I accept this lessens the chance of the ordinary shareholders being shafted, not sure that it eliminates the delist nightmare scenario since he is an insider and may be happy for delist if he wants to buy the club | mryesyes
01/6/2005 17:06 | Woah, a gamble gone wrong... "Preston North End PLC said that on May 27 Paul Wilkinson acquired 315,528 ordinary shares in the company, which represents his whole stake and some 9.58 pct of the company's shares." | bozzy_s
31/5/2005 14:34 | No, no I was expecting nothing, I was gambling and losing!! This is a share board not a fanzine. Are you suggesting holding the shares for 3 years or more or do you subscribe to the idea somebody out there wants to buy up PNE at more than £1.20 The nominal value of these shares is £1, so no normal rights issue can work without a very expensive split All I am saying is don't get caught holding them in the close season which if they are to delist that is the 8 weeks they do it in; | mryesyes
31/5/2005 14:13 | Can't understand why someone bought just after the bell! Did they think Preston won! | src123
31/5/2005 09:14 | eyes - dont know what you were expecting. if they lost the price was always going to fall, just because the mms know that alot of people were only looking for a shorterm bet and would sell whatever the price. just cause you lost theres no need to start slagging the team off, one bad game when the pressures on is hardly a hanging offence. as for their finances, fifth smallest wage bill in division and, once theyve finished the exec stand a very good sized capacity, will see them alright, especially when they do eventually go up in the next 3 years or so | georgethefourth
31/5/2005 08:46 | Why would a buy in OF SHARES ON THE MARKET A) Not buy in at 1.34 with the danger of £2 if the playoffs are won B) Still not be buying in now at 1.20 C) Be in the rumour mill for ages before, but still no-one buys on inside info I sold my 2600 at 1.12 this morning, I took a logical gamble at 1.34 lost and got out. There is no upside; that team neither are able nor seemed willing to play in the premiership yesterday and the whole country saw it; probably not one of that team (for whatever reason). There will never be a dividend it remains a loss making business. OK if you still don't believe me, followers of football shares note that being one game from the payoffs has the shares less than 10% above where they were when in 16th place or the year before for that matter..........no, if they could not get buyers at that stage the PLC is a worthless vehicle and either nothing will happen now or this rumour turns out now they lost to involve delisting. Sell unless your holding is small and you want to keep it, prepared for it to delist (you could always buy next season) or if you are holding hoping for a dirt cheap rights issue | mryesyes
30/5/2005 17:55 | A shame indeed. | eriktherock
30/5/2005 17:00 | A shame - this would have had a great run next week, glad I held back. | saddam bin laden
28/5/2005 21:02 | I'm so surprised that there wasn't a scammble for the shares yesterday. I can't understand it. Maybe investors are nervous that the Hammers will win and therefore scupper the plan ( I don't know of the announcement date for the buy-in) or maybe I've misunderstood my info.) We'll see. | eriktherock |
