28/5/2005 09:18 | No it was a B trade at the sell price for 315,000 at 16:29; no support for this theory; anyone have any other suggestions | ![]() mryesyes
27/5/2005 19:35 | Jaysus, buy-out, private buy-in 300,000 shares traded today. I can't see beyond Monday. I'm 40 but have been acting like a bloody schoolboy for the past week! My kids are saying: "Who's the daday, daddy?" C'mon you whites! | no1jacko
27/5/2005 12:50 | I don't know but I fear Milwall will delist in the close season and I also fear Celtic will using the excuse on what became of Man U Preston I had not expected to delist. Why do you suggest the "Buy-in" brigade have not picked up stock today the last day before the game at 134p surely too good to miss if your info is correct. The days turnover is just 396 shares. yesterday believe zero. | ![]() mryesyes
26/5/2005 23:16 | Delist if they lose. Where did you hear that? PNE are worth buying for the Share Certificate alone. Seriously though PNE will follow form and turn-over WHU. They will then be the subject of a private Buy-in at around 275p per share. | ![]() eriktherock
24/5/2005 10:22 | Not so sure about the private takeover, not much sign of activity on the share, they will delist won't they if they lose to West Ham. However the press is assuming West Ham will win which is not logical. | ![]() mryesyes
21/5/2005 18:01 | Got to be worth buying on the hope that Premiership football next year plus private takeover. As usual though things are only obvious after they've occured. Like PGI. | ![]() eriktherock
20/5/2005 13:47 | Picked up 2000 this morning then went to place a bet on West Ham as insurance. 13/8 on is not acceptable so I hold my 2800 PNE uninsured but will take my losses after the game if they lose if I get 115p or above. Looking for £2 if they win | ![]() mryesyes
20/5/2005 08:22 | A Step Further. | ![]() eriktherock
15/5/2005 18:25 | Well it would make more sense to buy PNE at 8am on Monday if you were considering a bet on them at the bookies, there isn't much downside, the MM's are being a dog with the silly spread but that will stop after the playoffs so really it a good bet if you can buy at 1.35 and really think the club likely to win in Cardiff. Personally I don't see them beating Ipswich but its only one game and good odds I expect £2 a share tho only on propomotion if it went ANY higher dont wait a minute just SELL. This is not a silly money punt and the shares may rise slowly and gradually. As stated it is a good sector play, While I have said a lot of clubs will delist PNE won't | ![]() mryesyes
13/5/2005 17:49 | Well I suppose 'you never know' in football but there is a gulf in class between Ipswich & WHU imo. I can see PNE in Cardiff. we'll see. | ![]() eriktherock
12/5/2005 15:58 | So you are writing off West Ham already? I am in on PNE also for £2,000, purely a punt on them getting into the premiership. If they don't can't see much down side, hopefully get out at a small loss. If they do will hold to see what happens. | crfc63
11/5/2005 15:23 | I'm a shareholder also. If PNE make it to the Premiership it won't be long before a bid comes in for such a well managed business ( sector comparison only ) and with such a history. PNE could be one of my better invesments providing we see-off Derby and the Ipswich. | ![]() eriktherock
11/5/2005 15:18 | "Heard a rumour from a very reliable source that someone or some group is on a buyback mission. Might be Friends Of PNE." My source was a broker's clerk. I've got 440 shares (cost £1,000), bought for love not money. I like owning a tiny piece of my club and would be very upset to lose my loss-making shares --- the other rumour I heard was that PNE wants to delist. | no1jacko
20/4/2005 21:54 | They have had no effect on the price | ![]() mryesyes
11/4/2005 19:56 | who might your source be ... one of the friends ??? | ![]() miavoce
11/4/2005 19:17 | Heard a rumour from a very reliable source that someone or some group is on a buyback mission. Might be Friends Of PNE. | no1jacko
17/3/2005 14:00 | Good to see an active BB, it has been a year since anybody posted. There has to be value in these, looks likely to make the play offs and then the possibiltity of the riches of the Premeirship. Even if they don't go up they must make a bit from the play offs. | crfc63
17/3/2004 21:39 | Maybe I was a little premature - Coventry win 6-5 on aggregate. | ![]() miavoce
17/9/2003 21:38 | I have it from a very good source that, having beaten Coventry 4-2 last night, PNE are about to take the fist division by storm. Don't say I didn't warn you - get in now before the rush. | ![]() miavoce
08/4/2003 14:24 | If anyone's interested in a Preston North End email address, go to www.ClubNames.net. Looks good to me. | cdrnet
06/4/2003 12:22 | Can anyone tell me where I can get a PrestonNorthEnd email address? I saw an advert in last month's 4-4-2, but couldn't get a copy myself. Anyone? | cdrnet
15/11/2002 18:44 | and what a great night at St Andrew's it was too. Why can't we win like that every week. Rumour is that FoPNE want to take the club private again. Anyone else herad anything? | no1jacko
05/11/2002 21:52 | Well looks like Preston are beginning to show their true colours with the 2-0 thumping of old sparring partners Birmingham. A good run now will put us where we rightly belong. Oh, and the 10m that we get for Fuller in January will be useful - shame we'll have to sell but that's life in the Nationwide. | ![]() miavoce |
