A close below 55p support would be worrisome for the bulls.

I hear the Board are considering changing the ticker to 55P, no idea what that's all about! Seriously though, this share should be suspended until deal is done, i guess that's why it's being called a re-fi deal and not something that the share price suggests is necessary.

Can anybody tell me exactly WHICH covenants we are currently breaking?

Is it possible that now the oil price is past its low (I believe we first started talking about covenant breaches as the oil price went into the 30s!) that as time goes on and the oil price stays above $45, occasionally going above $50, that the historic revenues from $30s and also lower production fall out of the statistics.

Therefore if they defer things long enough, it actually reaches the point when refinancing isnt actually needed. It may still be wanted, but is no longer "needed"?

charts pointing to 90p plus next week, 50/100/200 SMA converging upwards.
Solan reservoir issues being progressed, Catcher well within budget
Refinancing news next week and prospects of better oil price.

55p support needs to hold this time, no confidence from the bulls.

Aren't people worried that they're reliant on a deal organised by goat shaggers that eat sand!

No change at all in any of the disclosed short positions during the last week which I find pretty unbelievable given some of the high volume days we had

Didn't little Mohammed learn anything at LSE or was he too busy tearing around Knightsbridge at 4am in his funny coloured super car toy getting stopped for no insurance??
Doesn't sound too clever.

Saudi has to make it work.

With #oil at $45, #Saudi foreign reserves are falling $19 billion a quarter and will run out in 7 years. Saudi Arabia needs #oil at $74 to balance its current account and keep foreign reserves stable, says commerzbank.

Here's an interesting interview about what's next for the oil price - this analyst is basically predicting a $40 to $50 price for the foreseeable future
