Agreed, also seem to notice plenty of polypipe trucks around. Invested on the back of having polypipe fitted at beginning of year....fantastic investment. The builders really rated this product.

Seems like a consolidation before our next rise to a held position at £3 I hope. Polypipe trucks seem to be on every motorway I drive at the moment and I see only good updates ahead.

Has the share buyback got anything to do with the apparent decision of PLP's second biggest shareholder, Cantillon Capital, to dispose of its 6.3% stake according to the latest RNS?

Cantillon, a savvy US hedge fund, was one of the founding shareholders at the time of the IPO with a 8% stake. Its decision to exit PLP follows last October's exit of Cavendish Square, the major shareholder which sold the company in 2014. Were it not for the steady stake building of Standard Life, which now owns 14.65%, PLP's share price would not have held up as well as it has. Let's hope that the latest set of results will encourage a few more institutions to join a share register dominated by just Standard Life and Schroders.

Prime bid material in my book - I wonder how many US predators are considering an approach. This might explain the recent share price action with MM accumulating stock.
FibreWeb went the same way in 2013.

Agree totally - was not expecting this sharp pullback here. Added earlier too.

Deutsche has a BUY rating and 361p target
Berenberg, BUY and 360p target.

I suspect the share price has bottomed at 270p so have bought at 271.52p.
Ex-divi 25 Aug at 3.1p dps. Astonishing 12% fall since superb TS.
Today's fall down to numerous AT sells - time to take advantage as
this was a good buy at 300p a couple of days ago.
