Long on PLP POLYPIPE........recent new float and world leader in its field, my play on the housing market. Was a toss up with Howden but howden although a solid company looks expensive on present ratings.

No good puting a chart up yet for PLP so will post a overview in link below.......

Definitely something interesting brewing here it seems, a lot of orders being raised to 267.25p. Perhaps their results are out soon, they did say they were going to be ahead of market expectations or at the top of market expectations in their trading statement (too lazy to look!).

tiger - agree it looks very unloved (less so today). I think it just got caught up in the raft of IPO downdrafts. Also investors tend to get turned off by boring companies. Now perhaps people are starting to take a proper look at the business and the fundamentals look solid (imho). Good to see that management are quick to send out the message that they think the shares are under-valued by buying back stock. There was probably a leak of info since the shares rose before the rns came out.

The road programme investment of over £1bn has spurred on PLP today and it will continue to strengthen into the new year imo

Everything going for this stock,cheap oil for producing plastic pipes and fittings,bouyant housing market, Road Prog, SCWS share tip a couple of months ago should be upgraded on next letter,naked trader two open positions on the stock.

I hold the stock so biased-bought more today -expect price to fall back but the company in a secure growth position to move forward.
