14/10/2014 07:49 | Good vertical result. Baker Hughes to do the horizontal section. | oilretire
14/10/2014 06:56 | News out today for the BB to dissectVGLTA | seangwhite
14/10/2014 04:37 | Db i was not on about any of that. I was just pointing out the fact that you said " just shareholders " and the ptr board seem to treat their shareholders as " just shareholders " compared to some other companies who give clear information in rns's and information that can then refer to previous and future rns's. | rich2006
13/10/2014 23:27 | rich I think Db has a point in that Oil are partners in the files development and as such will have greater knowledge of what when and how things are. As a matter of fact they are providing the financing for PTR on this hopefully company enhancing development VGLTA | seangwhite
13/10/2014 23:20 | Rich... If you cant see the difference between a shareholder and a business partner you should not be investing... If a company was to bend to one shareholder, they would have to bend to them all. Yes the directors listen to what shareholders have to say and do make changes where its appropriate but we (the shareholders) elected the board of directors to make decisions in the best interest of the company and the majority of shareholders, not just one of their shareholders. But maybe you are a Natlata fan ? | dbarr0n
13/10/2014 23:02 | OIL are partners NatlaTa are just shareholders. Hmmm to most good companies the share holders are the most important, not just shareholders. I guess that might explain why the company do not give out precise and comprehensive info in their rns's to just shareholders. | rich2006
13/10/2014 22:40 | sean.. It was steel that replied, you should thank him.. If the well has around 12-15 mtrs net pay with good reservoir properties that will do me, the flow rate don't bother too much, but 100 bopd inflow would be a super result as this should mean a minimum of 400 bopd IP for the 300 mtr horizontal section and much more for the 1000 mtr horizontal production wells they hope to drill. I am more interested in how much the horizontal section produces.. | dbarr0n
13/10/2014 22:05 | Thanks Db a quick and helpful reply What do you think will be viewed as a 'good' result on the vertical T5 - would a pay depth over 15m with a flow rate over 100boepd be positive?TIAVGLTA | seangwhite
13/10/2014 21:42 | Sean - I take it you looked at the website? Also, more in the Admissions Doc re. Soviet era Tungolskoye No. 1 well: | steelwatch
13/10/2014 20:30 | DBDo you have any details of the previous drill near to where T5 is located,I thought this PTR well had issues but don't know what they were. An older Russian era well proved positive if memory serves me right.TIAVGLTA | seangwhite
13/10/2014 16:40 | sean, You say the numbers are small, They are not that small and most of what they do have were bought at higher than todays share price Ravin... Yes, I think we will get news tomorrow.. | dbarr0n
13/10/2014 16:19 | True ptr is holding well considering oil slipping and other oilers falling. Is it just anticipation of results or does it bode well for gd new that is the question. Dbarron you reckon news out tmoz isit?! | ravin146
13/10/2014 15:47 | Db I know the published shareholding figures and that DF and VS have substantial holdings but what about DS, PD, TH, DG & GF a far greater number with relatively small numbers. VGLTA | seangwhite
13/10/2014 13:08 | 32.3 million shares are held by the directors and 23 million held by Ali Sobraliev Son of our drilling contractor. | dbarr0n
13/10/2014 12:56 | Db Not correct as I already have a few more than most members of our BOD which seems a sad reflection on their own faith in the company and its prospects! VGLTA | seangwhite
13/10/2014 12:55 | don .. Our usual contractor is drilling the vertical part of the well, not the horizontal section. It is very relevant, Natlata are just shareholders, OIL are partners. I dont agree that Natlata know more than OIL, if it was up Natlata the company would be in the process of being broken up for their gain. | dbarr0n
13/10/2014 12:38 | sean... You sound like someone wanting the share price to go lower, Do you want to buy some ? Lol. | dbarr0n
13/10/2014 12:35 | steel .. It may have changed or maybe Halliburton are just providing technical assistance and another contractor is doing the drilling. Cant remember the name now but it wasnt them... | dbarr0n
13/10/2014 12:33 | Well folks I have got to say the share price is holding up well considering what is going on in the E & P sector. The T5 result shold be out soon and if good news no doubt it will be missed in the current turmoil though if it is bad the share price will be hammered. VGLTA | seangwhite
13/10/2014 12:29 | Having said that, there is an indigenous oilfield services company with a branch in Tomsk: | steelwatch
13/10/2014 12:26 | Don777, Our usual drilling contractor is not drilling the horizontal section of the T-5 well, and who cares what Natlata like or dont like ?, they have just a 14.75 % interest in Petroneft. Petroneft are the operators and if anyone was or is to have a say it should be OIL with a 50% partnership in the licence. | dbarr0n
13/10/2014 12:20 | Db - may have changed, but the name cropped up on slide 8 of this presentation which is why I assumed it was them: | steelwatch |
