19/1/2016 11:04 | My bet is that PCI will cobble together some deal with holders being effectively diluted to near zero. Big Bain will try to stay in charge on the basis of his special relationship to the Government being 'vital' to the project. Whatever happens he is as failed a CEO as one could find in the E&P sector and that is sadly really saying something. GLTA | seangwhite | |

18/1/2016 08:02 | I dont want to appear all doom and gloom but a buyer doesnt need to buy the company for £189m (£34m and £155m debt). They simply need to make the bond holders an offer. Bondholders are facing a wipeout and will accept less than face value, so let the company be out into administration by its bondholders (who are in control now), then make an offer. Or, pump in large amount of financing on the condition that a billion billion new shares are created and handed over (leaving current shareholders with next to nothin). Can anyone tell me why this might be any different to other similar situations eg Afren? | shaunstar |
