21/12/2016 08:48 | They keep doing it because it's so very small and illiquid. They believe if they're first to buy, then ramp it to death on Twitter, they can move the price enough to exit profitably and leave some other mug holding the baby. As I say, sad. PAA is b/s insolvent and is racking up losses. | eezymunny
21/12/2016 08:44 | OK so why do they keep doing it? I guess the low market value and free float means they think they can make an quick buck as ANY decent news here will cause the share price to rise significantly. Lets be honest - it can't go much lower - except of course go bust. Also the company did mention an acquisition - I am not making that element up.. | knigel
21/12/2016 08:39 | Or more likely IMO yet another PAA P&D. Hardly the first is it? Those buying into the brief spikes have been crushed every time. | eezymunny
21/12/2016 08:35 | 27k shares purchased yesterday.. 122k shares purchased so far today.. I work that out as 5% of the share capital - so perhaps some one has heard of the acquisition the company mention could happen before the year end.. | knigel
07/12/2016 15:28 | 2016 has been a very profitable year - sadly not when it comes to PAA (again), will keep an eye on it but I've also not held any of these for a while now. Thanks for the updates Dusseldorf, be interesting to see what happens next here | mister md
07/12/2016 10:14 | Last time DC held a vote his proposal to issue more shares was voted down. Perhaps he's 'forgotten' about it as he has a hostile investor (Oryx) who do not want to be involved anymore. I no longer hold any PAA, but I'm ready to come back in if something good happens. | dusseldorf
06/12/2016 17:24 | Any theories on why there is no AGM notice yet? | andyhey
29/11/2016 12:55 | FYI - game digital already seem to be the owners of Insomnia and have tabled expansion of those events via linked events, I don't see them releasing it 'en-mass' so only see PCM Ltd/PAA as an intermediary. | dusseldorf
29/11/2016 11:45 | I see Heavycon got cancelled. DC resigned from the heavycon LTD company. Heavy bar ltd has been renamed: PARALLEL LIVE LIMITED. Parallel Media Championship is soon to be struck off (22nd Jan) after 1st Gazette. DC doing well! 4 weeks left for an acquisition to be announced as per summer results RNS. Heavycon coming back with Insomnia60 (61?) next year as a combined event. Perhaps this live event is what is being acquired by PAA, but who knows. I hope the guys still holding out on DC have got used to disappointment(!) Found this: Basically says: The organiser of Insomnia60 have now issued the following statement: “Parallel Contemporary Music Ltd. will amalgamate elements of Heavycon in to the Insomnia60 gaming festival taking place over Easter 2017. As part of a partnership with Multiplay, rock fans will still experience the Vinyl Village, Rock stars sports cars, the Play Music Live sessions and more but will now also get to experience the thrill of Insomnia, the UK’s largest gaming festival. Insomnia features a huge line-up of gaming tournaments, main stage entertainment, a major retail exhibition and a whole host of gaming related zones and activities for all types of gamer, including both novice and professional, of any age.” The article goes on to highlight various annoyed vendors. DC strikes again! I assume this new event will be what PAA is acquiring alongside bricklive perhaps. | dusseldorf
28/9/2016 14:01 | Mister MD - Hope all is well. I'm moving house this week 3 months after the birth of my 2nd (for more room!), it's all go. I note David thanks the staff for creating the company 'potential' not for the work they had done. I suspect the staff comprises <7 individuals at present, one of who is him, another his wife. Since Oryx sold some stock (which really lost my faith in the future), I've more or less moved on from PAA and am keeping my toe in, maybe come back in again dependent on acquisitions and their nature - DE once tabled an out strategy to me and this seems some way off, though it relies on him actually creating shareholder value at some point sufficient to make a company attractive to potential buyers. I have a close eye on what happens next and what is bought, part of me suspects he will bring in his Art business to commercialise it with one or more other events in UK (Brick live and Heavy Con). We shall see! | dusseldorf
28/9/2016 13:52 | Some cool bands mentioned in the RNS. Other than that, not a lot really. DC 'remains positive' as always. | mister md
28/9/2016 12:34 | Eezy - perhaps this is: Reached a settlement with Arena Group whereby the Group has received a cash sum of USD125k (GBP84k PLUS whatever he loaned the company in the period? | dusseldorf
28/9/2016 12:27 | What a nonsense. £184 exceptional profit item and he doesn't even tell us what it is. You couldn't make it up. Balance sheet insolvent. Loss-making pre exceptional. The years of pitiful performance continue unabated... Good luck. | eezymunny
28/9/2016 11:47 | Results out - acquisition by end of the year apparently.. | knigel
28/9/2016 11:46 | One thing DC manages to do, and that's never fail to disappoint re: lack of progress. The profit is a result of exceptional items. To be honest I'm astounded the results were out before Friday, so things are improving(!) The RNS must kill the enthusiasm of our new investors? My 5k sold at 18p looking better as the day progresses. I do still hold 11k, but TBH I've been making much better returns with money elsewhere to consider buying any back at this stage.. I'm still interested to see what is acquired at year end (Brick live and Heavy Con?), but in referencing 'end of year' DC really means Q1 2017. | dusseldorf
23/9/2016 14:28 | As there isn't any meaningful revenue there's hardly likely to be a surprise. Unless a declaration of insolvency would surprise you? | eezymunny
23/9/2016 14:01 | There will be no bad surprises in interims I'd say :) | drmaccers
23/9/2016 14:00 | I've still not sold :) | drmaccers
23/9/2016 10:00 | Happy birthday KN! The insolvent PAA being twittered into orbit by the twitter twits. Such fun for you. Enjoy! | eezymunny
23/9/2016 09:54 | Oryx in a closed period pre news should see the rise continue | scyther
23/9/2016 09:20 | Thanks guys. Big 50 next year. Holding to results then will review whether to sell/add | knigel
23/9/2016 09:13 | Happy birthday KNIGEL - I still own about 11,000 PAA after I just sold 5k at 18p. I'm not convinced this is anything more than a PI surge and if Oryx want out, it will soon be sold into post results. I'll keep the 11k until after results and evaluate selling all out. | dusseldorf
23/9/2016 08:48 | Happy Birthday Knigel and good luck with it - I am keeping a close eye on it and hope it recovers somehow for those still in. JPR is my current big trade (aside from 'sensible' holdings) - Crystal Amber activist investor stakebuilding there ... | mister md
23/9/2016 08:41 | What a lovely birthday present! Hopefully results will justify this rise. GL holders! | knigel |
