13/8/2016 09:26 | Organic Creatures Crafted from Plastic Cable Ties by Sui Park Amoeba. Fish. Sea anemone. Aliens. These are all fair interpretations of Korean artist Sui Park’s sculptures and installations made from interlocked cable ties. Weaving together the plastic fasteners she creates undulating organic surfaces or swarms of creatures that swim in schools and cluster together like eggs. Park recently had a solo exhibition titled ‘Playing with Perception’ at Denise Bibro Fine Art and currently has work on view at Summer Sculpture Showcase 2016 in Connecticut. You can see more of her work on Behance. Olvera, Cádiz | Spain (by Nacho Coca) One of 6 ever built, a 1934 Texaco Diamond T Doodlebug tanker truck. The Diamond T Doodlebug’s body was made by Heil Co. 06/8/2016 08:42 | CANCUN is like Mexico’s Atlantic City (only less gambling) and subaquatic wildlife often takes a backseat to the Zona Hoteleria’s 24/7 carnival-like atmosphere. That said, for scuba divers the waters and fish off the coast are indeed special. And made more so, recently, with an addition to what’s called The Museum of Underwater Modern Art – an underwater sculpture park less than 30 feet below sea level (shallow enough for most certifications). UK artist Jason deCaires Taylor has crafted the many sculptures that lie at the bottom and has made them out of PH-neutral, porous concrete which attracts and benefits all kinds of sea creatures. The concrete VW bug (Mexico’s unofficial national ride seen above) is the very latest and perhaps coolest addition. Timelapse Douglas | Isle of Man (by Paul Fargher) | freddie01

04/8/2016 15:12 | Agreed lots of quality stocks still around paying solid dividends | bashor
04/8/2016 15:08 | If it gets to 120 I think I would just sell up, I can't see the pound so weak in one years time and any gains this share will make could possibly be offset by a weakening dollar. There are so many cheap stocks around at the moment that pay a decent dividend it is becoming difficult to justify holding onto these from my perspective. Has anyone checked out Debenhams for example? Just one of many. | terminated
04/8/2016 11:17 | So it's interest rates day, will we see the £ slip under the $1.30 mark on the next leg down | bashor |
