Terminated - yes. My sale through TD Direct on 8th July is stamped 15:43, but since I posted it here at 20:52 (and hadn't sold when I posted at 19:53) I think the 15:43 must have been local (NY) time. There was no stamp duty charged on the sale but there was a 1.5% forex charge. If you trade £25k's worth the forex charge reduces to 1.25% and there are further reductions with size of trade.

I think $26.50 at £1=$1.3210 is about £4.24-equivalent for the old Pace shares, above the £4.15 level at which they were suspended in December.

There will be a lot of ex Pace holders wanting to cash in some after being caught out by the drop in Jan before they could get their shares. This could struggle until all the profit taking has been absorbed.

It could just be normal profit-taking ahead of the uncertainty of the results. Particularly for UK-holders looking at things in sterling terms there's been quite a recovery recently. I was also considering selling some more today (and still might I suppose) but given the pullback I'm leaning towards letting it ride. Technicolor still to report I think ahead of Arris so there's a bit more news to come. edit: not to mention the Fed still to come as well.

If we didn't complain things would never evolve but stay the same, so here's to whinge power.

Edit: Second attempt to sell a few but every day they seem to jolt up on opening then drop back during the UK trading window. Not really fussed if they don't go through I can't see it dropping back.

TerminatedI feel your pain. If you ever find a company that performs well, does what they say they will or what you expect them to please let me know. In the meantime I believe we have to learn to adapt and evolve. Long gone are the days of good customer service, my latest coping mechanism is to lay down in a quiet dark room at midday to enable me to cope with whatever the afternoon throws up. If this fails I'm going to look at class A drugs. Good luck

Arris vs Technicolor

Just looking forward to today's results bonanza (Comcast, Technicolor, Arris).

If you look at a 1 year comparison chart of Arris vs Technicolor (e.g. in Yahoo! Finance) the share prices have broadly tracked each other very closely. Technicolor outperformed noticeably after its 1Q revenues upside surprise (28th April), but that gap has recently pretty much been closed.

Choose the "compare" option on the following link and add in ARRS.

Short interest back up in the first half of July. Now at 7.3m shares.
