I only bought a very small holding of 16,000 shares. 10 pence + will happen at some point. That'll be a £1000 profit for me. I don't mind waiting but it'll happen. All the bad news is out of the way now and we can look forward to the company making some decent acquisitions.

closed up 36%, more than happy with that.

Eralier you couldn't buy more 2500....as the share price kept going up to 150%...so later as share price went down hence less demand and so easy to buy. I see rns as positive, from nothing to 2.8m operational profit.... all companies have to issue statement when share price react is such manner. re share float, only 2.5m changed hands so still plenty floating.

IMO a strong buy at these levels and we all know how quickly these can rise. Plenty to look forward to after all the re-structuring.

where did all these shares come from?

if free float is so small am sure most of us have been buying today, why the constant vailability of shares? i for one am slightly concerned...

would appreciate any comments from the 500% movement in 3 days ...thanks in advance, all i can see is shell company...

Ovidia Investments P Ovidia Investments swings to H1 pretax profit UPDATE


(Updates to add details
LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Ovidia Investments PLC, formerly known as NWD
Group PLC, swung to a first-half pretax profit as the reorganisation and
refinancing of its operations helped it to significantly reduce administrative
expenses for the period.
The marketing services company posted a pretax profit of 2.81 mln stg for
the first half ended June 30 compared with a loss of 457,000 stg a year ago.
Administrative expenses declined to 4,000 stg from 2.88 mln stg.
Ovidia said it raised 70,000 stg in cash by placing 7.0 mln shares and also
issued 2.5 mln new shares to satisfy its convertible loan note holder under the
company voluntary arrangement (CVA).
Separately, Ovidia noted the post-result movement in its share price and
clarified its first half operating profit of 2.80 mln stg was an exceptional
item and arose on the implementation of the CVA and does not relate to any
ongoing trading activity.
The company issued this clarification on the regulator's query on its share
price movement.

the rns is positive: it reiterate the profit of 2.8m and clears any doubt about where it came from. How could anyone see that as negative.

Remember with such a high increase in share price earlier they are obliged to issue a statement. That' all they have done.

I would strongly recommend you filter chancer6 and watch for the
pump and dumpers using this thread to ramp other disaster stocks !

Chancer6 is in the top 5 of the worst pump and dumpers to use
this site so be warned !

No Just factual.
It does not say we are not in a reverse takeover or anything else.

It removes the diubt as to where the profit cames from and changes nothing else.

Note: I am a holder of a nice chunk purchased at just over 1p when they came back to the market- and I am not selling!!!!
