It beats me how a company with no business can produce a profit.

The money raised was only £70K. So where did the other £2.74M come from?

Knowing I will do, but today im sticking with OVD..Gross profit of 2 million = on profit alone 20p per share ..What the f.ck are they only trading at 6p for.. These as just looking said should be in the 30- 50p range.

Pre tax Profit was 2.81m for the FIRST HALF......... therfore, pro rata annual 5.62m. If P/E based on thes figures, then P/E os 0.12, massively less than 1.

LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Ovidia Investments PLC, formerly known as NWD
Group PLC, swung to a first-half pretax profit as the reorganisation and
refinancing of its operations helped it to significantly reduce administrative
expenses for the period.
The marketing services company posted a pretax profit of 2.81 mln stg for
the first half ended June 30 compared with a loss of 457,000 stg a year ago.
Administrative expenses declined to 4,000 stg from 2.88 mln stg.
Ovidia said it raised 70,000 stg in cash by placing 7.0 mln shares and also
issued 2.5 mln new shares to satisfy its convertible loan note holder under the
company voluntary arrangement.
The funds raised under the share placing will be adequate to meet ongoing
operating expenses, the company added.
