BigT, the Omi chart indicates (to me) that an important low was hit today. Of course, I could be wrong. As to the macro picture, you're making assumptions of the current dire situation (gold price and DB) and extrapolating it into the future. The news is always bearish at the low. Again, I could be wrong so don't take my word for it.

The gold and miner charts are currently searching for a low from which we will get an initial rally. We could then pullback again and make new lows but that would be just guessing at this stage.

Reminder: gold in GB Pounds is up by 15% since the month of May (when I bought a chunk of physical) so the metal is money when the going get tough.

DB will be fined a small amount, and CEO has by some papers view sounded out a small placing as well....it won't go under IMO/DYOR.....yes OMI is leveraged play to POG, but it is also a low cost producer IMO so can cope very well (I hope!) at $1,250 as it is today for instance...

It's just a leveraged bet on PoG.

Expect PoG to be smacked down further as they [prepare for Deutsche bank earthquake.

You're all just lucky Cable has fallen so far recently, otherwise this would already been down closer to 13p

Q1 results are out next monday (17th).

If we close here, today will have been a hammer reversal on low volume which means selling has exhausted (for the time being). We should get a multi day or even a multi week upswing followed by maybe one more retest of the lows.

The company is only valued at just over 12m with nearly 4m net cash in the bank and almost zero debt.How many gold miners are in that position?Yet the share price is struggling at these lowly levels.Hopefully gold will recover from these levels.China back tomorrow,German Bank problems still very much there though for the moment pushed under the carpet,US elections next month and elections in Europe soon.With all this going on sooner or later we will see some action

Sp is below the apparent 16p support level, so a further fall should be expected with support at perhaps 13/14p.


This is on the basis that POG continues to fall.
