i think thomas anderson is former chairman of circle oil
also of the anderson family who own the omniplex chain of cinemas in ireland
so if its the same thomas anderson he would definitely be in multimillion bracket
and its a very positive sign for orm as he would be very well connected

Interesting movement at Aurum mining our partners at the more prospective gold projects. They appear to have been oversubscribed in a recent fundraising issue. Significant upward movement in share price.
The hope is the money will be used to take the JV projects further, but the company had talked of diversifying out of mining sector so not certain.

Some movement on the land issues / compulsory purchase, stakeholders have been requested to attend the city council on 29th September - this looks to be part of the formal process between the individual stakeholders and authorities to recognise the urgent occupation.

Looking away from Barruecopardo again :
Very interesting updates from Aurum Mining in their final results. Looks like they may be looking to diversify away from the mining sector.
Whereas this might be seen as a concern actually there may be some positives for Ormonde. Progress has been slow at both joint venture locations primarily due to lack of cash ( recent market sentiment).
If Aurum do diversify it may allow Ormonde to increase their 43.5% stake the Pino de Oro project and 48.6% interest in the Peralonso and Cabeza projects.
Both projects were recently independently evaluated, unlike Zarza which Ormonde want to divest, management still seem keen to push the JV projects forward.
The initial earn in for Aurum was 500,000, not sure if this spend was completed but possibly a chance to take back control at reasonable price.

Thanks Steelwatch . So if they are preparing the contractor Laydown / storage areas it makes sense to conclude that the site access roads are in place / being prepped for heavy machinery.
Quite satisfying to see the Komatsu at work !

Got to be a chance.

I know its pretty off topic given the focus on Barruecopardo, but can't help thinking there might be a future for La Zarza.

Admittedly non jorc but 61Mt, grading 0.8% Cu, 0.9g/t Au, 0.6% Pb, 2.0% Zn & 5.7g/t Ag must still have some possibilities.
