07/11/2010 15:31 | Why would anyone approach anyway the board hold enough shares to be instrumental to any takeover? Anyway around the supposed asset worth of YES plus a little for the trading operation - 25p I might consider but not 5p and I'm not holding my breath for that!!!! | ghbg
06/11/2010 16:18 | I am sure it is a fraud. If I was you I would contact Oak's Company Secretary. | timely4
06/11/2010 13:20 | If you haven't signed an NDA then the fact they've sent you one is immaterial - any information they've profered prior to receiving your signature, especially if uncalled for, is public domain. | gbb483
06/11/2010 08:46 | Ian I am a shareholder and haven't as yet been approached. I hold a fair number of shares so if they were stake-building I would expect to be contacted. Is there anything you can say about them? | timely4
05/11/2010 19:10 | Thanks for the thoughts, I would be keen to hear if anybody else is approached, or hears there is anything in the pipeline. gbb483, I can certainly assure you I am not the con. I have held these since they were Anglo Welsh. My holding is now worth a fraction of what it was at their peak, and have only kept them as it is hardly now worth selling and the distant hope they may suddenly become worth something again. The Company in question that contacted me today have now sent through a Non disclosure agreement and further information about them... I am also extremely sceptical about any of these types of things, but cannot find anything dodgy on-line about the Company who have contacted me so far. Thanks Ian | ianwoolley
05/11/2010 17:09 | Of course the con could be message 1051 ... in which case it's had exactly the opposite effect. | gbb483
05/11/2010 14:50 | If your certificated I'd say it's definitely a Con. They get your name off the shareholder register. I know of nothing in the offing. | nextlink
05/11/2010 14:35 | Has anybody else on here been contacted about selling their shareholding in OAH. I have been contacted twice now... Is this just a con, or is there something actually going on with them? | ianwoolley
02/11/2010 09:27 | gbb483 & ghbg - both of you have made valid points. timely3 & 4 - are you the same person? | pifedayo
01/11/2010 18:28 | Last year at the end of October 2009 they issued a trading update. Admittedly they were looking to raise cash but given that they are now a trading operation they could at least have done the same. As for the website, my business manages to update websites almost daily and with cheap modern content managed systems it seems they are probably being charged for obsolete website technology. Also they should get rid of the YES project website and just use the oak website. | ghbg
01/11/2010 12:33 | I agree, but I doubt if any prospective tenants will be secured via the website, so it is probably less of a priority use of their limited cash. | timely3
01/11/2010 11:21 | Oak is committing the cardinal sin of having a web site that hasn't been updated in years. A real turn-off for the modern client. (and the Yes! web site hasn't been updated for even longer). | gbb483
22/10/2010 13:02 | Unless you have inside knowledge, I think it is very early days for the Yes project as deals are bound to take time to construct in this market. As for the other 2 they are at least bringing in some level of income until the main project hopefully moves ahead. | timely4
21/10/2010 09:58 | It looks like Oak is self imploding - close season for most of its going concerns and a total lack of obvious real progress on the Yes project. | pifedayo
03/9/2010 10:28 | ... and now you're trying to ramp it on here ... | gbb483
03/9/2010 08:18 | Geat news, a bit of buying should take the share price back to 10p. 0ff topic take a look at AGTA, I've just posted some interesting research on the bb. | cliley454
03/9/2010 07:13 | Outline planning permission finally given. It will be interesting to see if they are able to prgress the YES project from here. | timely4
13/8/2010 10:58 | OAH price is going up - must be a mistake. | gbb483
10/7/2010 08:31 | Deckchairs, rearrange and Titanic come to mind. Only progress on the Yes project will signal an improvement in sentiment. | grahamg8
07/7/2010 09:00 | So the market doesn't think much of the change of board. | gbb483
08/6/2010 21:31 | I don't know what you mean by "me too's" I have been topping up (and trading out) at various prices between 5 and 10 for ages. Today was no different. | ghbg
08/6/2010 15:57 | Strange isn't it - we had the relatively large trade by Axford and the price moves 1/2p, then we have a couple of miniscule trades by 'me too's and it jumps another 1/2p. I'd wait a week or two, it'll be back down soon enough. | gbb483
08/6/2010 13:27 | I wonder if the 'associated interests' extend beyond family and if it is the start of something more than just a former director's interest in OAK's future? | pifedayo
07/6/2010 20:50 | I suppose one has to look it on the basis that he is a former member of the board and will therefore know a fair bit about the company, was directly involved in the recent placing, therefore imo it can give us ordinary shareholders perhaps a little bit of comfort that he is investing in Oak presumably with cash. | ghbg |
