Look at FAN today, was 7.5p when i posted it as one of my ten for 2011, a very well known poster sold out at about 5p[an accountant] Greengiant, for a huge loss.!!

Look up not down , walk tall and most of all do not live in fear, as it holds you back.!!

total assets are £13.6m
but deduct goodwill £10.8m
and liabilities of £1.6m

that leaves £1.2m of tangible assets of which 1.8m is property plant and equipment........

it will take a lot of pumping to make this crock dumpable tara7

tara7(a.k.a timely4?), what a spiffing idea, buying distressed shares in a company with no tangible net assets in a leisure business which gets adversly affected by the snow.......but then you're not serious are you?

I have been a buyer at just under todays level, any new money [to be raised] in my view will be at a price above what one can buy in at today.

The lock in ends today so lok out for selling next week, [MAX a few 100k], if prices dips i will be the buyer .!!

What so many do not understand about tiny AIM stocks is this.

Worst case 100% loss less 28% of that can be be used to reduce your tax bill.

Best case the likes of ASOS 2p to £15.00 in under 6 years.!!

I like advfn because of the polarised position people take on particular stocks.
Apart from going bust imo I'm not sure where the downside is on this one?

no tangible shareholder funds.....a gambling chip for pumpers and dumpers, so no surprise to see the usual suspect(s) on the ramp

Requires lot of paperwork and an EGM, also why would the directors want to do it.?

Market cap £2.2m plus a bit of debt, now is the project worth that at this stage.?/

Yes, as you also get the other parts of the group and years of work thrown in for free.

Shares were originally at 1p, then 50p and then 5p. If they need to raise new money and the share price is below the nominal value of the share, they'll just realign the nominal value of the share.

Shares are 5p ORD so any new money raised will be at 5p or above.

Just bought 100k at 4.1p

If dumping starts on Jan the 1st i will buy some more.

[My view is those shares will be sold on to willing buyers in any event.]

Yes but they had RBS set up to provide the financing before the bank required all the shoring up and is now effectively owned by the taxpayer. My guess is that they can no longer rely on RBS. Also with all the Local Government cuts Rotherham Council may have put the Yes project onto the back burner.

5p (face value).

If this crowd can't turn a profit in the leisure industry when we've got the 2012 Olympics looming then a phrase including parties and breweries comes to mind.

Yesterday was weird. Up .50p before opening then down .12p on the day with no trades. Something afoot or just MM playing some game?

The company are aware of the scam. Anyone who has been approached should request details and forward these to Chris Yates, Oak's finance director and company secretary. Tel: 020 7493 5522.
