24/12/2009 09:52 | Me too, but it's not really a proper trading day so I suppose it's too early to judge. Yesterday's news won't have filtered through much, what with most of the City probably already on the pistes, or at least on the pi$$. | tokyojohn

24/12/2009 08:19 | It will come back shortly to the screens, just the usual post rto suspension delay. now 3 v 1 on level 2 - strong upward momentum but the MMs must be a little worried re closing book | fairdeal2008
24/12/2009 08:18 | Just topped up again. Here's for a great 2010. | 77monty
24/12/2009 08:13 | ...bloody iii isn't letting to deal in NVR this morning, to55ers, anybody else having similar problems !?! | waleriuszwatrobka
24/12/2009 08:10 | MM are trying to play this down. The suspension came as a surpirse and I suspect they were short NVR stock. Now they have a fixed placing price at 7.6p and the stock really needs to trade above that but if they move it too quickly they will have a hit on the price of incoming stock. Any decent buying will move this materially up. I expect after reading the document that we will find a way to share price in the low to mid teens relatively quickly and I reckon that was the thought process behind the supporters of the placing - then at a 40% premium to suspended NVR price. | fairdeal2008
24/12/2009 08:09 | Ooh, that's more like it! | tokyojohn
24/12/2009 08:09 | So not exactly poised to rocket up. The phrase "damp squib" springs to mind. It's still early doors, though. | tokyojohn
24/12/2009 08:06 | 1 on 6p and 3 on 5.5p | simonparker5
24/12/2009 08:05 | How's level 2? | tokyojohn
24/12/2009 07:58 | On your marks... | tokyojohn
24/12/2009 07:26 | So this is an intriguing situation wonder how the MMs will handle this. SP on rto suspension 5.5p (and it was quite tight I recall - not many on the offer so they could have been flat book or probably a little short). But now with a placing at 40% premium to closing price then if they hold level it allows people to buy in to the known rto deal at a steep discount. NVR holders have got a very good deal with this acquisition and it does transform the company. share price movements will be quite amusing however going forward. | fairdeal2008 |
