From the RNS:

"Current Trading

The Company continues to make progress and expects to report results in line with market expectations. The interim results will be announced on 22nd July 2008."

Has the company stated its interim / FY expectations?
Or what is the market expecting?

Thanks...

Hi everyone

Been on holiday for a couple of weeks in lovely Florida :-)

I cannot believe this is still at these levels. Good news last evening, yet still not enough buying pressure to take us through 10p.

Only a matter of a time, this is a fabulous little company with a big big future.

Hi longshanks. Yes a very positive announcement indeed.

I like the way he says "acquisition prospects", indicating more than one. We should hear completion of the first one by end of May at the very very latest

Expect to see bid at 10p today on the back of yesterday's announcement.

Nice upbeat AGM statement - anyone attend?

NEUTRAHEALTH PLC ("the Company")

ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING - RESOLUTIONS PASSED AND CHAIRMAN'S STATEMENT

NeutraHealth plc is pleased to announce that at the Annual General Meeting of
the Company held today all of the resolutions proposed in the notice of the
meeting were duly passed.

The Chairman, Martin Gatto, whilst speaking at the AGM said "In the first three
months of 2008 we have focused on building on the success of 2007. We have
increased our level of marketing and promotion in our new Patrick Holford range
and our energy release CoQ10 products. This promotional activity is generating a
satisfactory sales uplift on those products, while our core business remains
solid. Our export initiatives are also being successful.

In January we acquired the Galloways and Gerard House brands, including 7 herbal
licenses. This business has now been fully transferred to Brunel Healthcare, and
growth initiatives are progressing well.

The acquisition prospects are good, and we expect to complete further
acquisitions in 2008. We are in good shape for the year ahead."

No new acquisitions to announce yet unfortunately shammytime but it looks like they have been busy with due diligence.

...expected to get these dumped on today with the negative press about people overdosing on various vitamin/mineral supplements.

Heard an awful interview on Radio 4 this morning [Today program at around 8:45] with our Head of Science and Education at Biocare, Patrick Holford. He was spitting out all kinds of unjustified bile to try and discredit the researchers. The researchers, to me, came across as totally unbiased.

I was poised over the "sell" button for quite a while, but it seems the market doesn't care too much. This is probably all to the good as sometimes one feels there is too much state intervention into what we should or shouldn't be doing to make ourselves feel good.

Price is currently in the doldrums but the recent trend looks quite positive.

Worth bearing in mind, PhilAJ, that despite increasing profits 100%, being well supported by an Indian pharmaceuticals company with big plans, and having some high-profile backers [Sir Gulam Noon] - the price is still below par value of 10p.

The company is acquiring nutraceutical companies in a fragmented market that is growing some 12% per annum. Risks are limited to whether NUT can grow effectively if their paper has such low value. However whilst this will remain way off the radar of many investors, because of its size, for a while yet, the growth prospects and potential takeover premium are enough to make me an investor.

I tend to agree with shammytime that from a short and long term perspective this is a good asset to have in a portfolio.

Hi Phil

Definitely worth a punt. Major acquisition announcement on its way very soon indeed. Also, the chaps above are talking of a minimum takeover buyout of 16p.

At the very worst, buying now will see gains of 50%.

From a short and long term perspective, this is a strong buy.,

Hi Guys - is this worth a punt ?

Just got some cash from the Pipex / FFC fiaso and looking for a low priced share with potential. This was recommended in The Week - but then again, so was Pipex !!

Any opinions ?

I think Elder may cough up a tad more than that.

I guess the positive side is that Elder will be forced to pay at least 16p a share in terms of the takeover rules if they make an offer anytime up to 26 July (within a year ofthem making the strategic investment).

Currently the largest single acquisition they could fund from debt would likely be £5-6m. They are really hampered by the share price being so low.

If they find they can't fund larger acquisitions because the share price is held back...it would make more sense for Elder to buy the company and finance such purchases directly.

I accept your point that this is not what the Directors would want but...if they can't impress the market soon...they won't have much option because Elder will be biting at their heels.

Longshanks, I don't think the directors would want an offer from Elder at this stage - they probably want to grow the business, get the share price up and then get a much higher premium from Elder.

...or we could get notice of a buyout offer from Elder.

The Sunday Telegraph buy rec got a re-iteration as one of the tips covered by "The Week" I received on Friday.

Not much movement over the past couple of days. bid price holding up well however and looking at the 12 month graph alone, next leg up is imminent.

I'm trying to get my hands on more information of the highly impressive acquisition, not surprisingly there are a lot of tight lipped people around at the moment.

This will breach 12p in the blink of an eye.

I've just noticed the 12 month graph. Simple graphing indicates 12p very soon.
