NCC will be admitted to FTSE 250 tomorrow, but as its only half day's trading and most of the City has already slipped into party mood, it'll probably not make much of an impact.

This may have contributed towards today's rise. As I pointed out previously, NCC were first reserve, and now following the deletion of Pace from the FTSE250 NCC have been admitted - effective from 24th December:

Nice.

I'm assuming the presentations re the FoxIT acquisition went rather well, since I can't see another particular catalyst other than obvious general optimism about NCC's sector. Though the Citywire tip is good to see.

This is looking extremely strong, NCC are operating in such a fast growing market place you can only see a lot more good times ahead.

They were not market buys - they were taking up of all or part of allocation in P.O.O., the shares from which were issued yesterday.

At Close this evening, I note ADVFN lists NCC MktCap at £793m.

From 18/12/15 the total number shares in issue increases to 275,799,363 and therefore @ £2.82 = Mkt cap of £777.75m, (assuming share price not diluted in the process) and could produce a promising shift towards admission to FTSE350 for next review on 15th March 16

Good to see BlackRock stating today they're new holders of NCC having taken part in the placing:



"We added two holdings in the IT sector, NCC Group and Softcat. Nobody gets their shares until the 18th - from the prospectus:

CREST Members' accounts credited in respect of Placed Shares and Open Offer Shares in uncertificated form-

as soon as possible after 8.00 a.m. on 18 December 2015

What does show on some brokers' holdings list is the provisional allocation (can't be traded) which is probably what fooled seans66 into thinking he had the shares - he hasn't.
