Seem to be on chart support here too ? The drop from 280p to down here was unsubstantiated imo. Yield 7% plus too providing they don't cut it. Follow your gut - I've taken 5000 today.

I am under the impression that whiplash claims make up about 7% of their business. The share price is now well oversold. Remember Buy when everyone else is running for cover if you want to make money.

PS. Resolution 14 of the AGM statement allows the company to buy back shares. This could be a good time for them to do so, with the current lower multiples. I would take it as a positive sign, if they did so.

Thanks Changa, good to know. I think it says in the last results, around 76% of inquires are non RTA claims. Not sure how that would translate into a percentage of revenue though. Looking forward to the next results, I still hold a (small) position. Looks good value at these prices IMO DYOR etc.

EezyMunny, I did not think that they would be allowed to disclose this information unless they shared it with the broader market via a RNS announcement. Let's hope they have some other forms of EezyMunny.... otherwise goodbye to my not so Eezymunny!

Changa did you ask the CFO "what percentage the whiplash claims are of the total revenue"? That's so very important methinks. I guess the whiplash stuff has been fantastic for them as insurers pretty much paid out every claim - so lawyers would buy these without asking too many questions. Other types of claim are not so clear cut, not so eezymunny. If I held here I'd be concerned that a high % of profits were whiplash related. One of you lot should ask and get a straight answer IMO!

I e-mailed the company this week. I have lost a hefty sum of money on this share and was thinking it might be time to cut my losses and run for the hills The CFO replied promptly. The drop is on very thin trades. He seemed extremely frustrated by it too. Full year results are out 17th January. I get the feeling it will be a bumper report and let's hope they will provide some more clarity on what percentage the whiplash claims are of the total revenue. All in all I think this looks like an attractive price! Pity I entered at £3, but I am going to stay calm and enjoy the ride until the 17th!

Just looking at the trades, it seems someone had a position to unwind, quite a lot of selling at 232p

£2 and I'm in, that's gotta be cheap ? Today's drop was ridiculous.

This is just ridiculous. Motor accident claims are only a small part of their business, is it not? They are the highest quality operator in a poor sector.

A ridiculous drop for the volume. But it's the aim casino and anything goes. Dividend yield must look juicy now though. I realise it may get cut.

Unfortunately you can't predict the future and know what's going to be in the budget statement. Hope your not in too much trouble Halway.

Found this piece in the last finals..

"Enquiry generation shows volume up 15.3%. Pleasingly, the mix of enquiries has continued to trend towards the higher value categories, and about 76% of the Group's enquiries are generated from the faster growing non-Road Traffic Accident ("RTA") and medical negligence sectors."

This does not state percentage of profitability that could be effected by small RTA whiplash claims but if 76% of enquires relate to non RTA, then profitability might not take a huge hit. Plus the recent acquisitions provide additional revenues form the conveyence business. Forecast rolling PE of 9.5, forecast rolling PEG of 0.75.
I picked up a few today, all IMO DYOR etc.

What you need to do, surely, is phone the company and ask them what % of profitability is from these affected claims. They don't state that in the AR etc AFAICS. Without that info you are singing in the dark IMVHO.

It may be that a huge % of profitability will disappear if this all goes ahead or a small %. So ask them!
