03/9/2008 17:42 | maybe because its a rubbish company and they want at least some of their money back perhaps? writing been on wall for months - the only surprise is that your surprised! | stegrego
03/9/2008 17:20 | I'm no fan of TW as some of you might, lol, know, but on this occasion not 100% loss. Not only did he tell punters to get out but - reputedly - he also ensured that there's be no cosy meetings at West Ham in future. A poster elsewhere said this: 'halifax - 22 Jul 2008 15:06 - 452 of 456 What a bombshell! TW has called for the resignation of the CEO Russell O'Connell as it is alledged he is running a franchise from the MYH carpark(you couldn't make this up!) which is making £350k pa. Shareholders and others close to the company were apparently unaware that the CEO owned this business but perhaps Lloyds found out........' | egoi
03/9/2008 17:19 | Great news, Brando has lost all his money | mr hangman
03/9/2008 16:44 | Seem to have built a pack of cards with the help of certain unscrupulous and possibly dishonest connections. Will be interesting to see if the White Knight is still prepared to bail them out and at what cost to investors and LLoyds TSB. | argy2
03/9/2008 16:36 | I doubt Lloyds would have called in their money only as a last resort. MYH will claim 'It wasn't us it was the Bank wot did it' - LLoyds probably stands to lose a substantial amount too. | isis
03/9/2008 16:24 | Goodnight Myhome Intnl shares suspended as Lloyds TSB demands immediate repayment of debt LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Myhome International PLC. said its shares have been suspended from trading on AIM after it received a demand notice from Lloyds TSB Bank PLC for the immediate repayment of all monies owed to Lloyds TSB by the company. Myhome said it has received the demand despite the fact that it is still actively pursuing the offer, received last week, from a new potential investor to replace the company's existing bank debt and subscribe for new shares in the company. Myhome also said it is still trading within its banking facilities. And it said that at this time the company is unable to repay the monies owed to Lloyds TSB. | pictureframe
03/9/2008 16:24 | LOL goodnight . Myhome Intnl shares suspended as Lloyds TSB demands immediate repayment of debt LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Myhome International PLC. said its shares have been suspended from trading on AIM after it received a demand notice from Lloyds TSB Bank PLC for the immediate repayment of all monies owed to Lloyds TSB by the company. 03/9/2008 14:58 | If LTSB won't wait, the prospects of replacement funding look, well, non-existent, to be honest. | esrimeur
01/9/2008 20:33 | Now trading below par value per share. How much longer before suspension and administrators appointed? The ones I feel sorry for are the locked in vendors of Chips Away. They were very good at shafting the greedy management of MYH on price and have, it would appear, finished up being the ones shatfted. This debacle has been on the cards since the management started paying over the odds for nothing business on the conceited thought that they could turn them into a gravy train, that is BEFORE the Chips away purchase. Glad I got out at 98p. | knowsleyman
01/9/2008 19:55 | Only had a few left, but decided to sell these today. I'm out! Overall, I twelve bagged on this one, but sold today my remaining shares at a 1p loss/share. All very sad how this has ended up for shareholders. There could still be a good business to salvage, but there is no value left for existing shareholders. Still a good chance the whole company goes into receivership / a massive fundraising gets done at 1-2p. | topvest
29/8/2008 21:49 | I'm amazed that this is still trading at 5p. Don't MM's and investors read the announcement - "substantial discount"! Not worth me selling my last few shares, so I will hang in here, but it's all a bit of a disaster. | topvest
29/8/2008 16:23 | The proposed offer is subject to due diligence, approval by Lloyds TSB and receipt of shareholder and regulatory approvals as required.......' | argy2
29/8/2008 16:11 | With a par value of 5 pence, a deeply discounted placing is not possible without a reorgansiation I believe. | cullis
29/8/2008 11:44 | There are a lot of people short on this stock and they are going to get their fingers bunt when it bounces! | lgpixels
29/8/2008 10:55 | MackDaddy I've been involved in several placings and only been locked in once...and that was in a sellers market when the company called the tune. We shall have to wait and see. PS...with CFD's etc it is very difficult to tie in a buyer imho. | argy2
29/8/2008 10:45 | The debt here is crippling the company. I will be, only slightly, surprised if the rescue package gets completed. I will be far more surprised if the company is still going by the end of 2009. Any which way the destruction of shareholder value is imho from here on a given. | egoi
29/8/2008 10:16 | i somehow don't think that's possible.. you need to conmit for a period.. | mackdaddy
29/8/2008 09:41 | I suspect the smart people are more inclined to be involved in the placing and then dump shares in any rise. | argy2
29/8/2008 09:34 | i guess that rules out all of the above then.. | mackdaddy
29/8/2008 09:16 | I would expect this one to bounce, when they have the funding sorted out. The business has a turnover of £8m+ and operating profits of £1m+. The smart people are likely to get involved now:) | lgpixels |
