20/7/2008 19:21 | "Mark cap only £5m, profit next year £2.4m!" RUBBISH. If you think Myhome will make anywhere near £2.4 million next year you need to see a shrink. There is a good chance of this company going under in my opinion. | oldhamkid
19/7/2008 21:46 | is this finished now? | jrewing3
19/7/2008 18:21 | looked at the interims and precious little operating cash flow generated... something isn't right there..... Slap | slapdash

18/7/2008 18:30 | Picture, Can I quote your comments on ShareCrazy BB? I'd be intrigued to hear what the fake Irish charlatan would say. If he'd say anything at all as it's another one in his 90% club. Cheers, F | farley68
18/7/2008 18:02 | factors: All franchises they offer can be; Copied and set up for about 1/4 of what they charge Have no real barriers to entry of skills - a couple of weeks training is enough Have many competitors in each sector (eg have a look at how many "car chips repairs" in yell.com) PLUS : Service sector will be hit as consumers pull in the purse strings, cut the lawn themselves, clean the oven, leave the chip on the bumper...hardly rocket sciene to do these things or an ESSSENTIAL service. Even if they do find mugs willing to purchase a over priced franchise they are going to struggle to get the finance for sure. Its business model is flawed. | pictureframe
18/7/2008 16:33 | So, anyone who has done enough research into the franchise will walk away. Just my thoughts. I am enjoying watching this share. | mikey_b
18/7/2008 16:32 | you sure john? I don't think I can agree there. How long do you think it is going to take you to recoup £29k doing a cleaning job? The business model means you also need to expand once you have your feet under the table. Each expansion costs you another cleaners salary (or two) + transport + the admin overhead (salary, NI, Tax....not something cleaners are renowned for). I reckon if you get another cleaner and enough clients in a base that is shrinking, you will have an immense growth in turnover but bottom line hardly move. You'll be paying that 29k off or recouping it for the next 30 years. | mikey_b
18/7/2008 15:47 | This year operating profits at least £1.2m, next year at least £2.4m pre tax profit. 45-50p within 12 months. | lgpixels
18/7/2008 15:38 | just brought another 30k, confident with the brokers forecast of at least £2.4m next year:) This share is going to bounce at some point and people take advance to the share price. SVE who are very close to the company have added another 500k | lgpixels
18/7/2008 15:35 | johnpaul are you having a laugh. I bet you if you ask 50 random people if they have heard of myhome, 42 will tell you no. There is no brand here identity here. In this economy how many people are going to waste money on a cleaner when they can demand their wives or girlfriends do it for free. Or better still get their mums in. Myhome is a complete farce, i could go 2moro and set up a cleaning business for under 200 quid, why pay myhome thousands. | marycurer
18/7/2008 15:25 | because mikey people like an official identity, accountability, security etc. why do people use "jims mowing" at a higher cost than a local gardener to do the lawns and shrubs. all about what people feel comfortable with. and in this age of lack of local identity, social cohesion people will always go for the trusted brand. | johnpaul1
18/7/2008 14:59 | No problem at all. What you are saying is that any person with time on their hands can do this job. Why pay £29k to have a van and set of colour coded buckets? | mikey_b
18/7/2008 14:18 | 8Trader You really are dim. I am supporting the holders in this stock against liars who are making up broker forcasts and it is a TW stock in which he owns shares albeit at over 3 times the current price so how can I be knocking TW? | argy2 |
