                    TRANSACTION IN OWN SECURITIES

On 3 September 2008, the Company purchased into treasury 59,000 EUR
shares at a range of prices from EUR 9.69 to EUR 9.75 (the
"Transaction")

The Board of the Company has resolved with immediate effect to cancel
59,000 of its EUR issued shares, thereby reducing the number of
outstanding issued EUR shares of the Company to 60,794,637. (the
"Transaction")

Following the Transaction, there are now in issue (to the exclusion
of those held in treasury) 55,155,965 EUR Shares, 19,577,172 US$
Shares and 29,916,951 GBP Shares.  The total number of shares held in
treasury are 5,638,672 EUR Shares, 1,949,395 US$ Shares and 3,005,168
GBP Shares.
