New rock festival confirmed for Spain - Costa de Feugo

Guns N' Roses and Marilyn Manson confirmed as headline acts

Music Festivals plc (AIM: MFP), a company which owns, develops and produces music festivals, is pleased to announce a new festival, Costa de Fuego, which will be its second festival in Spain and devoted to hard rock and heavy metal.

The Costa de Feugo festival will take place on 20(th) and 21(st) July 2012, a week after the Group's FIB Festival in Benicassim, and held on part of the same site as the FIB Festival with a capacity of 30,000.

The festival will be headlined by Guns N' Roses and Marilyn Manson and feature over 40 nationally and internationally recognised artists over three stages.

The two-day tickets for the festival, including four days free camping on the site from 18(th) July to 22(nd) July 2012, will go on sale from this morning with the first 5,000 tickets on sale at EUR80.

The location and timing of the festival will enable the Group to significantly reduce the costs of hosting the festival as it will utilise the existing infrastructure of the FIB Festival.

The launch of the festival is in line with the Group's previously announced strategy to develop new festival brands in tandem with its established festival brands: Hop Farm Festival in Kent and the FIB Festival in Benicassim, which is focused on indie rock, pop and electronic music.

Vince Power, Chief Executive of Music Festivals plc, commented:

"There is great appetite for hard rock and heavy metal music in Western Europe and we have been working towards putting this new festival together for some time. I am delighted to have secured Guns N' Roses and Marilyn Manson as the headline acts. The launch of a rock festival in Spain also makes great strategic sense for the Group as we will be able to leverage our existing infrastructure commitment at the FIB Festival."
