Management have been complacent with cost management, cash flowing out but little coming in, and only within the last 6 months decided to 'cut' BOD salaries.
Based on the managements track record at MTV, I don't believe they have anything up their sleeves.
There cannot be any deals in the pipeline as these would have already been signed, announced and upfront payment received.
The company stated quite openly in their annual reports that any new deals would require an upfront payment, rather than relying on royalties.

Then again, Apple have been sniffing around.
