05/3/2016 19:02 | MP has previous with Scarlet Films? At least he knows the ropes so shouldn't suffer too much. "Home > News > Motive Television in administration Motive Television in administration UK-based TV tech company Motive Television has gone into administration following the suspension of its shares on London’s Alternative Investment Market (AIM) earlier this month. The company, which develops software for the broadcasting industry and once owned a number of UK production companies, has appointed Quantuma LLP to handle its remaining assets. Motive, which counts industry veteran Mick Pilsworth as a non-executive director, relaunched in 2010 with a focus on DTT technology after deciding to move away from content production due to uncertainty in the UK indie sector. It subsequently sold off prodco Brown Eyed Boy to Shine and put its Manchester-based indie Scarlet Films into administration. Since then it has released a number of products for broadcasters and pay TV operators, including TabletTV, a joint venture with US channels group Granite Broadcasting Corporation. However, The Times reports that it has struggled to buy back convertible loan notes, forcing it into administration. Nico Franks Nico Franks 26-02-2016" | thegrumpster
05/3/2016 18:53 | The Times view? "Nic Fildes Published at 12:01AM, February 24 2016 Only days after Powa Technologies collapsed into administration, another British technology company has fallen into bankruptcy. Motive Television, which develops software for the broadcasting industry, said that it had appointed Quantuma as its administrator after suspending its shares last week. The AIM-listed company said this month that Sanlam Securities, its nomad, had resigned. It raised £350,000 in September but has not had the funds to buy back convertible loan notes, forcing it into administration. Leonard Fertig, Motive’s chief executive, helped to establish and build several well-known channels in the 1980s, including DirecTV and Comedy Central. He also founded Central European......" | thegrumpster
05/3/2016 14:47 | Ok next week and by the way its not by the 11th its by 14th which means it has to be announced on or before the 11th not by the 11th. LOL | pwhite73
05/3/2016 11:04 | PWhite, yes it doesn't look good, let's just let the clock countdown.. Thanks for the post, perhaps we can chat next week 🤓 | shares188
05/3/2016 10:52 | Also if you look at the RNS yesterday you will see that it was signed off Michael Pilsworth, Chairman and Leonard M. Fertig, CEO. So as of yesterday they still had no nomad. A new nomad has to be appointed by 14/03/2016 not on 14/03/2016. Which means they have until 11/03/2016 which is next Friday to name a nomad. If they do not then the £300k per year gravy train that LF and MP have been riding for the last ten years at shareholders expense will come to an end. | pwhite73
05/3/2016 10:31 | Tookers thanks for the feed back fella much appreciated so you must know some info then regarding mtv and an apple buyout? Please feel free to elucidate more on your information. | theuniversal
05/3/2016 10:25 | PWhite,we are told that when the 30 days are up this company will if it has not appointed a new nomad will get delisted,,now do you believe that there is no chance of being granted further time to appoint a new nomad?? | shares188
05/3/2016 10:18 | When you stated they could get another extension you were not referring to the administration process. When you made that comment they had only just announced the intention to appoint administrators. Therefore no extension of the administration process existed for them to be seeking another one. When you used the term extension you were referring to another extension of the CLN £150k loan. They already had one extension from 31/12/2015 to 19/02/2016. I then quite rightly asked why would they want another one when the last one cost them £28k in legal fees. | pwhite73
05/3/2016 09:59 | PWhite ,I said they would get another extension, and you in your last post ask me why would they !!! 🤓 Like I said it's not over 🤓 | shares188
05/3/2016 08:11 | What's not over, the company?, the listing? or the loss of your money?. Of course its not over the company will never be over. Very few companies if any are wound up nowadays. If the directors consider something can be salvaged the company is placed in administration and then a CVA agreed. With regards to the listing and your money they are definitely over. Furthermore in all the recent updates the company has made it quite clear and in no uncertain terms everything is being done on behalf of the creditors which would include LF and MP. The company will not be spending money and will not be allowed to spend money on the shareholders by maintaining a stock market listing. | pwhite73
05/3/2016 07:19 | It's not over 🤓 | shares188
