riv,

They have a very large working capital cycle throughout the year - they describe it in detail in a presentation on www.morse.com (though that's gross and not net cash balances). Basically, the year end is the peak in net cash levels so, in the last 12 months they had

30/6 11.1mm net cash
30/9 8.9mm net debt
31/12 3.8mm net cash
31/3 0.8mm net cash

and now 30/6 they have 12mm net cash.

Best to take average net cash for the year to work out what actually belongs to the company IMHO.

I noticed on the Morse website in the news that they recently had an article in the Times. After today's gains and news due out on the 9th July, we may even see some coverage on Morse MOR in the Sunday Paper Tips Sheets. DYOR

Can I ask holders two quick questions:

- is Morse main market listed or AIM?
- how come MOR say they have £12m cash per the trading statement, yet in the 24th April IMS they had just £2.9m! Have I missed something?

TIA

Looks like this is set to rocket, buyer or not.
Its fallen from the sky to single digits and now it is clear it is not going bust, so based on all other similar scenarios the price just goes up exponentially, top of the leader board today so its on the radar of all those who have profited from these scenarios this year.
Also it can sell product as its not going bust and as the price multiplies it can do rights issues
BUY

Panmure Gordon upgrades Morse after trading update.

The broker has a new price target on the stock of 22 pence, up from 10.5 pence. It also upgraded its ratings on the stock to "buy", from "hold".
