Use AYM's main listing for ease of any future fund raising and merge the two companies together, advanced copper/zinc asset in Pary's close to production, cash and cashflow to develop all Minco's assets.

That would be nice.

You could well be right, all good stuff esp with zinc performing so well.

Merger with AYM next, cash will fund Pary's cash flow from that the rest of the portfolio.

That depends on your view of the value of the other Minco assets, we know what the NSR is worth roughly now, all the other assets depend on your view of zinc and manganese and progress to date at those projects. There are easy to find brokers reports out there that put numbers to those assets and I expect a Canadian exchange in a newly listed company will value reasonably. Although I first invested because of the NSR there is more to this company than it.

I am out of touch here but been in about ten years hence the loss of interest so when you say undervalued what do you reckon a fair value is

When Buchans is listed on the Canadian exchange I'm sure that exchange will value those assets more realistically than AIM has for the last few years.

That's how I read it also, plus chance that our other assets might get valued more appropriately on floatation in Canada. I'm happy to hang on for the ride.

I don't get why people are buying now. It says in the RNS to a value of 1.9p per MIO share

More details would be good but I take the main point to be that Canadian Zinc need Minco (Buchans) assets to make their nearby deposits work. I can see some sort of consolidation in the long run - timescale unknown.

A report at last but a sale of the project seems to be a long way off. I would like to have seen something along the lines of "robust economics for Zn etc at present prices".

From the messages above perhaps one of us should call Varma, perhaps give them this week as it has been suggested in one of the above emails that they may be meeting as a board this week anyway.

Surely with zinc doing what it doing there must be deal making activity for half decent assets in that sector at the moment.

These small resource stocks are always news/event driven so all about making sure you have your money on the table the day news comes in.

Is news overdue on lundberg/buchans? I was under the impression there was an update expected in December
