Metal Tiger PLC Strategic Investment - Connemara Mining Company

UK Regulatory (RNS & others).

Investment of GBP100,000 in cash to acquire 5,000,000 Connemara Mining shares at 2p;

-- Metal Tiger to receive one warrant at 5p for each Connemara Mining share purchased at 2p in the placing (being 5,000,000 warrants in total), with a warrant life of 24 months;

-- Following completion of the above Metal Tiger will own 5,000,000 shares representing 6.6% of Connemara Mining's issued share capital.

Terry Grammer, Chairman of Metal Tiger commented "this strategic investment in Connemara Mining demonstrates Metal Tiger's interest in natural resource exploration in Ireland and complements the investment made in Conroy Gold and Natural Resources recently.

We are pleased to see the commitment of Connemara Mining to utilise the funds raised to continue drilling in Donegal and look forward to the results from the drilling programme in due course.

Metal Tiger is keen to undertake and support further investment in Irish exploration through its Asset Trading and Metal Projects divisions and further work is being undertaken to achieve this objective. As and when further transactions are finalised we will notify the market accordingly."

Paul Johnson, Chief Executive Officer of Metal Tiger holds shares in Connemara Mining and therefore excluded himself from the decision to proceed with this strategic investment.

He has indeed, someuwin, but that doesn't mean it will stay that way. At least his posts are reasoned well usually.

Aside but relevant - I was in POL when it slid from 30p to under 2p, I sold half way down a considerable loss....there was a deramper on board there and he called it right from the high 20's but at just under 2p the rot stopped although he was still calling it down, I bought heavily and tripled quite quickly recovering my losses and more. Not me being clever, just saying that circumstances and waiting for things to happen can cause extreme anomalies. May or may not be same here.

KevJones, I don't really want to lambast MTR because I'm not a strong critic but with regard to CGNR, which you'll know more about than me, did you think anything of the tiny top-up which O'Sullivan made recently, which mathematically gives him + MTR control of the company if they act in unison? I thought it might be a hint that Prof might get a much needed kick up the backside if he doesn't start pulling his finger out. Possible?

I was wondering if anyone would like to partake in a little game. In this game you must declare MTR's worst investment and back it up with your reasons. I'm going for Conroy Gold (CGNR). Since I invested over three years ago the value of my shares has decreased by around 90%. I only got in because the already existing long term holders were saying that there's no way it could drop any further after a massive fall. Most of them were already losing over 90% anyway. It has since dropped a further 90% of what was left. The bod do not ignore private investors, they actively show their contempt for them. There's much more.

I urge PI's to read the RNS this morning from ECR -incredibly, and working from a base of 28.5 billion shares, they're gearing it up* to go all over again imo.

Twenty eight, point five, BILLION shares. That's Paul Johnson's public markets model in effect imo.

*or at least attempting to. As long as there's a growing base of informed PI prospering through community communication and information sharing the message back has to be:

"You Shall Not Pass".

It's so blindingly obvious now the message that's come back from the market regards MTR that only the final few bag holders remain. When they soon give in: trap door imo (which I'd maintain looks like 2.2 - 1.5 imo).

What's required imo, and perhaps good and well coming now, is a bonfire of the vanities. Everything that Paul Johnson stands for in public markets imo 'up in smoke'.

IMO it is MTR that will provide PI's that metaphysical bonfire. PI's seemingly gave the benefit of doubt after ECR. "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me".

Plenty of fireworks around for Diwala in some parts of the world. And talking about 'roasting staying close to the fire' recalls memories of warnming my marshmallows whilst singing ging gang gooly ... brings tears to one's eyes...

Will we go a week without an RNS from MTR? And will next RNS be a rocket or a damp sparkler?
