For the record, Manics, I only said one project, not "any one of current projects"...that's PJ talk. Botswana could put a stop to this. And might, who knows.

Interesting post Manics post 4791. My tick for you :)

Someone is dumping stock as the sells column shows quite clearly imho. That is what is probably causing the share price to drop recently. Bit unfortunate as I bought back in the other day.

Nah not quite, but close enough from an £11k base. A moot point though perhaps..!

paleje: anything could happen, and of course often does. This is AIM and this is pennies. I'm sure not all of MTR are nutters though Paul Johnson running wild with investor cash is risk enough imo. However "any one of the current projects.." is classic Johnson ECR rhetoric imo.

I once effectively financed ECR for a few weeks and feel I've seen it all before. Nothing ever came of any of it. Ever. Paul Johnson running around on here posting as Fairdeal2008 pumping Mining Mavern dogs, then in ECR directorship "best in class project" "doesn't get any better than this" "adding value for shareholders".

There were guys warning me away from the Paul Johnson crowd when I was long ECR years ago, and now I have become that guy.

Anyway, appreciate your being polite and best wishes with the trade if you're long.

Manics it's easy to say you're right when sentiment is bad and share price is sliding and, frankly, it's obvious with hindsight that selling at 5p would have been best so well done.

But this happens to lots of stocks especially resource sector. SOLG was 4p a couple of months ago but it has 5-bagged and has the likes of BHP chasing them and it's very early days yet. The big players are looking to replenish their stocks.

All I'm saying it this could turn just as quickly on one project alone. Do you think the guys at MOD are all nutters, or Terry Grammer doesn't know what he's at? Everyone loves knocking PJ but it won't go on forever imo.

Yanikto: Well, working from Nerdofsteel's "far superior" £2.43 Blueshare price target there is (potentially) almost 9,000% profit on the table at these levels.

Kill your ADVFN, login to Blueshare. Buy £11k in stock. Trust in Paul Johnson and his asset trading will take you to millionaire status -just like gaaston (who has lost his £18k MTR profit in 3 trading days).

Working from my price target however and you'd be losing, I reckon, 80% of your money. I'm the "not very clever" guy who suggested selling since 5p -as I continue to do so at these lofty prices (and they are lofty).

On Hot Copper MOD board, from this week's Shares Mag, I'm not sure if Oz is different to ours, anyway bottom line was the increasing interest from the majors in undervalued projects:-

Now we can expect to see the "Great opportunity to average down", "Good time to pick up some more while they are cheap" comments....

i.e if you're not holding the shares when the announcement is made, you won't be entitled to the distribution of funds.

>>BOOM<<

There you go. 2 handle close. I appreciate gaaston suggests I'm not very clever, though I've nailed that call to the DAY.

Have to hand it to Paul Johnson -he pulled out all the stops to keep this above 3p about 5 months longer than I thought he would, or possibly could quite frankly. Truth always outs in the end (just ask gaaston), as it is right and proper that it does so imo.

Being a gentleman Manic, I shall let you have the last word especially as it seems so important to you.... £18,000 it is. You must be a schoolmaster to be that interested in other peoples affairs. Yes, the broker explains that my portfolio is up over £400,000 this year = so what do I care? In fact, I give money away to deserving causes. Where do YOU invest? or do for a life? For me the story ends here. Sorry to others unfortunate enough to read this exchange of trash.

gaaston - 27 Sep 2016 - 17:14:13 - 4738 of 4772
"...my 4 million holding is in at a profit of £18,000".

gaaston - 10 Oct 2016 - 17:26:17 - 4770 of 4772
"...I have millions of MTR: all at a current profit of £8,000".

Which is it? 8(

"Big deal, I accidently neglected the 1 Manics!" -Hmm, OK...

MTR 52w low = £0.0073p "...I have not traded my holding for a year"
MTR price 27th Sep & today = £0.031
4m X (£0.031 - £0.0073) = £94,800 profit forecast

Yet you have stated just £18k, and then confusingly today £8k. If you "haven't traded your holding" (*ahem* apart from the sell 6 months ago eeek), then you haven't averaged up. I'm struggling here old boy..!

Very pleased to have doubled my money on EUA today. Sorry folks for the O/T.
Adding this note following discussion above. Another MTR investment ready to come right is AAU. Silver, gold and lithium etc.

Manic ~ as said previously, I have millions of MTR: all at a current profit of £8,000 + .... What is your holding (if any)? NB you're like a German tourist who inspects maps just to see whether they are correct or not!! also, you're a nit-picker
and not an investor I guess.

edit: factually you're correct by a few months and I grovel if that helps your self esteem by a touch.
