So will mdy trade on opex or is it being wound up completely? If it is wound up completely then surely more than 52p a share will be returned.I am surprised at the lack of discussion of the big event for long term holders.edit I see a quote on sharemark....and a total return of around 70p....wow.....I bet jimmyloser is ecstatic having to realise a loss of £250k +.

Bizarre. £1200 worth when he has options that could yield a theoretical £240k profit if exercisable at this time.

Strange time for the chairman to buy shares.

Has anyone had experience with Sharemark. Will it be easy to sell the share if required? And at what cost?
What is RNS4329C about, 25/02/12?

Only buys today. And at long last a closing of the spread. No doubt there is now a shortage of shares. Whether or not it will hit your £1 target jimmy is debatable unless a confirmed realistic positive valuation of Stanmore is made.

James

Having probably invested something like £50-100k here over the years, you deserve your £1 back imo.

Good luck fella.

Significantly better than the 1% or 2% interest on offer from the banks.

I think the salient point is at what price and by when do the board want to wrap it all up. We have to wait until 2013 at least for the remaining monies to be released and that's without any indemnity stuff around Stanmore which might come into play. That it is worth somewhere north of 52p (or even 62p) is not really the question - I think it is more how long one would have to wait for the full settlement...if you have the money spare a year or two might be worth a return of 30% on your investment.

25,000 shares purchased at 62p after the close. Somebody somewhere is very confident about the direction that this is heading in.

I believe hotfinance is using the figure used in the last announcement. That pointed out that the valuation of Stanmore was at cost. I believe that the valuation of that investment should have at least doubled or trebled.
