07/4/2011 09:49 | Old crew. Yep still hanging in there. I leave you short termers to make all the money. I,m happy to hold and enjoy my dividend. Pleased you made some money. Also you are very correct about analysts. They are a fickle lot. A few days ago it was sell, sell, sell and now it is upgrades and they are queuing up voicing their admiration for MKS. They assume because Primark are not doing well that it follows MKS must be doing worse. People have relised in these time that its cheaper to buy quality than something that will only last a few weeks from the discounters. | gruss
06/4/2011 21:25 | Remember this old crow - 1 Apr'11 - 12:08 - 2423 of 2457 edit Believe the Crows next Wednesday the price moves North so buy now. Have relations working on the floor in MKS Dont listen to analysts better take note of staff working on the floor The Crow did bought in at 330p and sold today 360p £ 3920 profit should buy a few Crow eggs with that! GRUSS you still holding from £2.00 a share or thinking of making money The Crows reckon you never lose money taking a profit Cheers | old crow

06/4/2011 09:53 | Interesting results. Apparel sales suffer as punters notice the continuing decline in quality. Increasing cotton prices are likely to worsen this trend. Their food prices continue to rise faster than inflation (the reference to 'competitive pricing' made me laugh, though they have realised how their 'Dine In' offers massively increase footfall), how long can this trend continue in a recession? | zulu001
06/4/2011 09:07 | Keep on holding. Hope they at least maintain the dividend this year. Wouldn't appear prudent if they increased it, you want to be paid while you're vested and waiting for recovery. ArtN | artnouveau
06/4/2011 08:17 | Results not to bad at all :-) | 5dally
06/4/2011 08:07 | nickward time to let your shorts go and put your longs on. | gruss

06/4/2011 07:58 | Shorters will panic and send these up. | isis
06/4/2011 07:54 | These are better than the market was expecting given the gloom scenario. I would guess dividend would be up 0.5p - 1p Too early to tell if we are over the worst in retail though for the UK at any rate. | isis
06/4/2011 07:51 | As the crow would say there is plenty to crow about.LOL. I just love these doom and gloom merchants. See what happens when the market opens but Im still holding from £2.00 a share so am very happy. | gruss |
