added more at 372p, the fall today provides a decent buying opportunity. no surprises in trading statement and should be back to 390p quickly, price reaction quite harsh imho. Decent div yield backed by valuable freehold portfolio.

Looking at the latest batch of analysts comments today they are either repeating a buy or one has it as a strong hold. All we need to now is convince the investor.

trading statement seems in line, somne profit taking. But will buy more if it falls to 375p or below.

these were 358p yday, today 392p. Rise a little overdone? Take profits, buy morrisons. Shares down today and a lot of negatives priced in.

May be small Simple foods (on motorways etc) are too small and 24 hrs to be included into M & S family.

I didn't know they were franchised, but M & S still make the profit on the sales.

By the by any thoughts, by posters, on the footfall at M & S stores local to them?

snow back again yew....! however, think marks and sprks are far too low. p/e under 10, quality company and new ceo well respected. 400p by end of year.
