I think HOC would be ideal partner in Argentina for Los Cisnes.
They did have a JV back in 2010 .

What price a TAKE OVER or BUY OUT of the HM asset?

Brokers targets north of 100p prior to PEA with some saying 200p to 300p on the above.

To me that would be too high but then after AVS [different sector i know] yesterday anything is possible!?!?!

Finally the current weak GBP/£ appears to be attracting foreign suitors especially from North America!

"Mariana is no longer a tinpot explorer. It has some of the best prospective tenements in the Deseado Massif, with potential for huge bulk tonnage discoveries. You just need to look at the disoveries made by Patagonia Gold, Argentex Mining & Extorre to get a feel for the enormity of the prospect.

Hochschild Mining have been sniffing around Mariana like a dog on heat for 18 months. At this moment HOC have officially 8.58% - but it is speculated they have much more. In Nov 09 Mariana knocked them back for an extra $750k placement and then promptly placed £2.6m at a premium to the then share price. At this moment in time HOC are restricted to a maximum of 19.9% of MARL shares.

I think it highly unlikely that Mariana have any intention of bringing the Company into production. On their website the slogan is "Adding value by Discovery in South America".

When it was 75-76 I sold some at 76 and when 75-77 I sold some at 77p most bizarre. Seems to have corrected now. Will look to buy back in later as gold down and this move looks like it was to do with the article. Still have 100k in it if wrong

Mariana a golden takeover target

Following the election of Donald Trump, a further jump in the price of the yellow metal hasn't occurred as many predicted, but as febrile markets have shown repeatedly in the past few months, there are still myriad reasons to believe that gold producers will continue to do well at $1,250 (£990) an ounce. Whoops sorry pr0t0n yeah well maybe just maybe shall i say "extremely positive developments" mean that MARL do not need to spend the money at M&M this year with the LMCC being enough of a platform to discuss recent "outstanding" RNSs including the PEA!!!!

Speculation i know but....?!?!?
