02/11/2016 09:36 | What's the upside for 2017-18? Ive read the recent newsflow, chip also commented on his thread. Looks very promising. Would rather have been a buyer at 20-40p, now that is too late. I am assuming gold at $1300 USD for 2017 but of course it could be higher. H | hectorp
02/11/2016 09:23 | View from Northland extracted from PA-Inv 'NORTHLAND CAPITAL PARTNERS VIEW: The acquisition of a controlling interest in Awalé Resources that owns the Bondoukou Gold Project is shaping up to be an exciting move for Mariana Resources with several targets already defined where artisanal miners are currently extracting gold. The work programme for Q416 and H117 will focus on refining existing targets and generating new targets for RC drill testing in H217.' | gersemi
02/11/2016 09:03 | Luckyvince - Your recollections of past share price performance mostly belong in another world. In 2010, the company was active and progressing in the Santa Cruz province of Patagonia - in particular the Las Calandrias site. A combination of gold price collapse and Argentinian politics caused that to be mothballed although (unlike MIRL) it still has holdings and concessions there. Following that, a large amount of capital was invested in generally unsuccessful exploration in Peru and then abandoned. Finally, the company was effectively rescued by the fortunate buy-in at Hot Maden coupled with a recovery in the pog. It is lucky to have survived imho but at the inevitable expense of dilution and the current share price has little operational connexion with events of 5+ years ago. That said, the marginality and volatility and of junior gold companies means that earlier investors (~2009-2012) may now see a decent recovery in their positions although the real gains will go to those who arrived in the last couple of years. The above makes an interesting comparison with the likes of SHG and OMI where recovery is based largely on the original operations. | boadicea

01/11/2016 18:29 | Gersemi, The point I was trying to make that seller (for whatever reason) could have been anyone. Warrants are gone. | pr0t0n
01/11/2016 18:27 | proton There have been some relatively large trades this week which I would say are sells and I hope from the warrant holders. To be fair though, the number of shares issued triggered by this warrant dilution is quite minimal so its effect should be anemic | gersemi
01/11/2016 18:21 | Ok, Since July they issued 1.5 million warrants. Last one of 928k was on the 5th of Oct. | pr0t0n
01/11/2016 18:10 | anthoniya, That could have been the case last week, but if my memory serves me right there was just over 1 million issued. Surely these have gone by now. | pr0t0n

01/11/2016 11:51 | 5 to 7 years ago Marl hit this price. But that was before they did a 1 for 10 on the shares. ok, at the time everything was over bought and we now carry extra shares, however, we also have a multiple of the potential we had then. A few years ago a few of us messed about on a calculator and came to the conclusion that 32p would be a fare share estimation. Again, that was before the 1 for 10 and all the discoveries since. So we are now about 8p in old money. Not as simple as that as we all know, but I am hopeful for somewhere in the region of £2-£3. All in my own opinion, please feel free to show me the error of my ways. | luckyvince
