Yeah, might be mte, im subject to change, at present........ Maybe eres roomfor ten or twenty pc.... But dont forget, i live in iom nd the rep of the co. isnt that great.... So im retying to extrct my knwowledge of it in that sense fromt he innvestmwnt case.

Just read the Midas article in the MOS and they talked about growth coming from Data offshore - might this be an area Lees where they might grow?

petrvala, their prices charges here are extortianet, so if they went into the Uk they'd have to be prices more than competitively thus see minute margins.. ive a feeling theyre a one trick market pony. imo, this was purely a way to get the current investors out by bringing to market.

After reading the prospectus I feel as if those growth prospects are largely down to a gamble on whether the uk government will not bring in tax legislation to tax gambling sites based on where the punter is rather than where the company is. The new data centre and other data centres depends on the status quo. Invest or not accordingly?

but how though? I live on the island, I know MT very well. I know its market, and its based basically on the number of people using it.. the island isn't about to explode in number of ppl.. and the two other competitors are tiny...

if you can explain to me how the YoY revs will grow, maybe you can correct my thinking.

also, this is a very high yield stock, thus typically it wont be a high share price appreciative stock.

Being in at the IPO [although seriously scaled back] Leeson31 i think that imo you are being far to negative on the growth prospects for MANX

yeah, not expecting a big Sp rise given the yield, but maybe a nice income stock... no growth through imo in the isle of man as theyre a monopoly, and the population in iom isn't about to rise massively, so I don't seemuch growth in revs, and too political to cut costs thus margins by reducing staff. so at best, maybe a good income stock..

what do you think ?

Admission to AIM and First Day of Dealing

The Board of Manx Telecom Plc, the leading communication solutions provider on the Isle of Man, is pleased to announce the Company's admission to AIM following a Placing of 110,081,987 Ordinary Shares at a Placing Price of 142 pence each. Dealings in the Company's Ordinary Shares are expected to begin today at 8.00am under the TIDM MANX.

The total number of Ordinary Shares in issue upon Admission will be 112,822,287, giving the Company a market capitalisation of approximately GBP160.2 million at the Placing Price and a free float of approximately 98%.
