An XD date will be set out as part of any dividend declaration in the interim results.

The Board plans to declare a maiden interim dividend with the Company's results for the six months ending 30(th) June 2014, payable in November 2014. It is our intention to announce these results in September 2014.


I bought some of these in April, is there a cut off for the maiden divi ??

Couple of questions, I've had a look at the results and see they have quite a large dept of 167m. I can't see their cash balance, anyone know how much they have in the bank.

That was before they floated, raising fresh funds. The result's commentary tell us that they had debt of £70m and cash of £5m on admission to AIM.

Sure is very small though. Re the poker news, thats merely a new owner of pstars, doesnt mean they automatically enter usa. And new jersey revs are v low for the poker co.s...

also off-island business and data centres are subject to competition presumably.
but is the recent poker deal announced yesterday good for them as it may allow entry of poker stars to US?

sorry leeson to disagree but they have competition, i.e. "Sure" and a small start-up which as yet is too small to offer serious competition but could develop as a threat in future.

Is the 7% divi going to be paid in December ? And is this stated ?

Very highly geared? Debt/EBITDA is forecasted to fall from 2.3 post float to 2.15 at the end of the year.

very highly geared must hope that the utility type income will reduce the borrowings in a few years and that no more competition emerges in its home market; also a small pension deficit.

The lack of history makes charting with this one less certain (not that it ever is by any means) but the share price look set for 175p or 155p in the near future, probably in the run up to or on the back of the agm at the end of the month..

i guess even if this was say ~240p/share and a ~4pc yield, its reasonably attractive... i think there maybe room here for capital appreciation along with the divi.... i tend to look only though for the cap apreciation as theres no tax on this in the iom, but id pay income tax on divis..

id agree with your summary above Emunny....

i think egaming is pretty safe in the iom, given that its about 10pc of GDP, now! the manx govt need egaiming, so it wont be leaving anytime soon. hence MT will contineu to benefit from microgaming, pstars, ftp, and all the rest of them..

Anyone have any forecasts for Manx?

Looking through admission doc and results, interest should tumble, with cash raised from new equity (£82.5m) and much lower rates on new debt. I reckon interest more like £3-4m going forward which would give adj op profit £18m less int say £3.5m for pretax of c. £14.5m and no corp tax in Manx. So adj P/E about 12.5. With capex being pretty close to depreciation that gives a cash flow yield c. 8%. So divi (proposed as 6% yield at 164p) covered about 1.25x. Looks a reasonable HY portfolio candidate, albeit with concerns about offshore bases for gambling co's raised earlier in thread.

Anyone seen anything significantly different?

Good sign of strength today, when the markets are falling and a lot of small caps are being hit this afternoon.

They received quite a positive 2 page write up in Shares mag last week too( in the 'Griller' section), on the back of which I bought a few.

The Data Centres seem to offer the main potential for growth, but the Chameleon multi-network mobile sim card which pick-up the strongest signal wherever a user is in the UK, sounds promising too, with its target mkt of sales reps & emergency services amongst others.

I'd agree with you too, Aleman, there's always the potential of them being swallowed up some time in the future.

HHhhmm... nice yield stock with a bit of growth possible and, I would guess, maybe even the possibility of takeover interest sometime in the future. I'm in for a few.
