I'm not happy with today's RNS either. I agree there is nowhere near enough detail, it's clear that it is what they are not saying that is important. Look how long it took for them to issue an RNS around the approval of the first half of Ogo, I doubt they'd have told us that much if not forced by their partner.

Major funding is required for new wells on Ogo & Otakikpo. With national production in decline and Optimum ready to drill they need to resolve this fast. 'Ramping' up production isn't going to cover it.

20% still to complete is the bugbear. They have been unprofessional and dishonest.I emailed them yesterday morning about their updates lacking depth and truth.On 310, I have concerns they will get the Afren slice. Unless there is a massive brown envelope the purchase price was tiny for a humongous field.

Onshore facilities commissioned and signed off by the regulators, oil pumping into storage tanks, offshore pipeline 80% completed.

This is all very good news, no other blockers, end of year continuous production target still looks on track with a few weeks left to finish the last section of the offshore pipeline.

Buy the dips.

I'm as much an expert as you. I cannot grumble at a close to 80% return.

Management do look 'whiffy' to me, there was the scandal over using a mates broken down, rusty old rig, production now seems to be dragging on and on top of that there are reports that funding is required for FOUR Ogo drills in 2017.

I'd like to see some clarity on Production and Ogo before reentering here.
