29/9/2010 09:41 | Well quiet here as usual but still look a screaming buy to me. Have a look back over the past year - it will be the trading statements goin forward that get these going. I dare say if brokers hadn't upgraded in Aug and these had said full year results will be 'significantly ahead' then the punters would have been piling in. Cash is over £1m better than this time last year too :-) LEE chart to continue it's mission imo. | cockneyrebel
29/9/2010 09:08 | good results out today HIGHLIGHTS Sales up 9% to GBP9.6m (2009: GBP8.9m) 43% increase in pre-tax profits to GBP562k (2009: GBP394k) Gross Profit up 14% to GBP3.2m (2009: GBP2.8m) 46% increase in Earnings per Share to 17.2p (2009: 11.8p) | 3800
29/9/2010 07:27 | Fantastic results - no two ways about it imo. The only reason they are saying they'll meet for the year is a) their usual cautious self and B) brokers have just upped forecasts from 22p to 28p eps - just noticed that this am. With nearly 18p under the belt in H1 these will easy do 34p eps imo. As last year their usual caution will mean that will be revealed at the next trading statement. I was expecting 14p today and hoping they could creep over 15p - these are blow away numbers imo. 34p eps would be a PE under 6. Divi must be 10p for the year making a 6% yield here, no debt and fab growth imo. CR | cockneyrebel

06/9/2010 08:32 | on the up - don't think the Scotsman mentioned that LEE have already said H1 will be significantly ahead of last year either. CR | cockneyrebel
04/9/2010 10:21 | 'One to Watch' according to the Scotsman today: "The new management team is now exploring new product avenues, both through innovation and by acquisition. The company's production processes are a model of efficiency, enhanced by an active policy of capital investment......." Lees Foods 201p +6p Scotsman says BUY CR | cockneyrebel
03/9/2010 13:49 | MM's desperate not to mark up but being forced to imo. Killing their channce of filling a larger buy imo. Reckon these are strong right up to the results at the end of the month from here. CR | cockneyrebel

01/9/2010 10:54 | Put these in my stockchallenge for this month - got to do well as the results approach imo. CR | cockneyrebel
27/8/2010 20:08 | Hi davydoo. They also have a refund of £250K in these results as the settlement from Patisserie UK. Half was in shares, the other half cash - so £125K cash added to the existing cash and any further cash generated in the period so the b/s should look good too :-) CR | cockneyrebel
27/8/2010 17:58 | Thanks for bringing this one to my attention CR. This must be my Scottish month, after buying into STVG last week. With a further reduction in finance costs, and the lack of the board restructuring charge in this years figures, should see a good leap in full year profit. On the buy list for Monday, hope im not too late. | davydoo
23/8/2010 14:20 | Screamer of a breakout today :-) CR | cockneyrebel

10/8/2010 12:48 | Pretty desperate aren't you HateTrader? The guy that grizzles like a baby when I post on a thread of your's. You were on here knocking these and pumping your MUBL - take a look at where each has gone since. These are illiquid - sadly, means I cannot hold as many as I'd like. But way too much of a bargain not to hold. "Pre tax profits for the first half of 2010 are expected to be significantly ahead of last year's figure of GBP394k." I wonder how much 'significantly' is? Looks like £1m profit this year from a £4.5m co tho. Guess the market will find out next month when the results are out. Fantastic chart don't you think? I reckon these will be going back to that 260p high before too long imo. CR | cockneyrebel
10/8/2010 12:43 | ...and I thought that this thread had been updated with some news - wrong | yoyoy |
