13/7/2010 15:09 | you can't read HateTrader LoL! CR | cockneyrebel
13/7/2010 15:05 | LOL ! "I dont need to ramp" But he will and he wont mention there's just 2 mm's with 1000 nms's, something he goes out of his way to tell me when it's one of my stocks stating illiquid this and that ! But ok for CR when he's in one though :-)) | watchout2
13/7/2010 15:02 | Yes, what they did was outrageous but they will be keen to put it right. Agree re dividend, same with TEP. Took me a while to catch onto these nice high/er yielding defensive stocks but better late than never. S | smarm
13/7/2010 11:50 | Feel free to ramp your heart out here smarm, I don't need it but it all helps :-) Of course this is one huge ramp as everyone knows (the 3 people that have looked at it anyway :-)). What most don't realise here is that if you add back the divi they paid these are on a breakout - been performing rather well in a bear-phase. I suspect a fair bit of the buying is from a few that went to the AGM anyway. Reckon it's only me you and another couple of guys I know that are holding ADVFN that frequent ADVFN anyway, doesn't get traded much really, which is a good thing imo. Will watch ALN - tis on my radar but what they did was outrageous imo. Cheers CR CR | cockneyrebel
13/7/2010 11:14 | CR - OK then, I'll leave you to it. Dull is good. Talking of dull, don't take ALN too far off the radar. After disgraceful behaviour over shares I think they are quietly expanding (I keep an eye on the jobs page, which at one stage had 50 jobs going). S | smarm
13/7/2010 11:06 | No help needed smarm - the stock has been picked off buy a buyer day after day since the AGM for whatever reason. This summer is miles better than last summer - must be great news for wafer sales. Anyway - a dull business on the face of it but dull is good imo - all the hyped up techies and stuff on big PE's and threads with post after port from 100 posters usually mean hype in the price - none of that here on this PE imo. No, never claimed my free beanie - in fact with my waiste line I shouldn't even be talking about cakes and ice creams :-) CR | cockneyrebel
13/7/2010 10:49 | CR - do you need some help ramping this? I'm in it. No brainer. Have you won a beanie yet? LOL. S | smarm
12/7/2010 11:17 | Gawd it's a screaming hot summer - think of all the wafers LEE must be selling and it's a big part of their business. PE 6.6, 4% yield and likely to be well ahead with this hot weather imo. Directors been buying too not so long ago too and doing share buy backs. imo/dyor. CR | cockneyrebel
04/7/2010 14:16 | Troll alert. CR | cockneyrebel
04/7/2010 12:35 | Get a life CR hardly a rise a few pence. This croc is illiquid proably market makers moving the share price about to create a bit of trade. Only fools bother with illiquid stocks. | ls lowry
01/7/2010 11:39 | Risen ever since the AGM - I suspect there was good news there that wafted out imo. CR | cockneyrebel
22/6/2010 15:04 | AGM tomorrow - think of all those ice cream sales in this sunny weather and all the wafers over the coming weeks. Yep, it's illiquid HateTrader - but at least the directors have been buying - unlike your MUBL. CR | cockneyrebel
18/6/2010 08:12 | At the end of H1 now, AGM next week - ADM statement on trading usually here. 150p to buy, 23p eps forecast, seems to be trading ahead - 5% yield nearly. CR | cockneyrebel
28/5/2010 11:28 | Just got a few more LEE. Goes XD next week for 8.2p. Get that again next year at least. So over 53 weeks you get about 19p or more in divi (11%). Can buy at 160p today so net over a year they are costing you 141p. They did nearly £850K pbt this year, look like they could possibly hit £1m this year. The market cap is £3.7m. Cheap icecream wafers, snowballs, jaffa cakes - just the sort of comfort food we all buy more of if things do get tight too. Got to be holding at the close on Tues to get that 8.2p divi which is 5%. CR | cockneyrebel
25/5/2010 15:00 | No your dont know what to do the market doesnt like the story its not looking good. | ls lowry
25/5/2010 13:04 | You don't even know what they do you tool! CR | cockneyrebel
25/5/2010 11:50 | The market place is competitive! There are a number of cost areas still under pressure! | ls lowry
25/5/2010 11:48 | Veiled profit warning the market doesnt like it... "The market place in which we operate continues to be extremely competitive although the emergence of competition from European manufacturers has eased due to the current strength of the Euro against sterling. Whilst some commodity prices and other input costs are not increasing at the same levels seen in recent years, there are a number of cost areas where we are still under pressure. " | ls lowry
25/5/2010 11:42 | Talking codswallop again Lowry - £850K pbt before the director pay off and So far this year they are ahead of last year - set to do £1m+ pbt this year - miles ahead of the £700K forecast. LEE look 30% ahead of doing £700K and 23p eps forecast this year - that would be 30p. 7.2p divi, £2m cash in the bank. "It has been an eventful year and I am delighted that we have emerged not only in good shape but have successfully grown our Group Sales and Profits for the year ending 31st December 2009 to record levels. I am also pleased to report that these trading levels have been sustained into 2010 with our sales during the first quarter of 2010 slightly ahead of the same period in 2009. " Less shares in issue now too. CR | cockneyrebel
25/5/2010 08:36 | Veiled profit warning the market doesnt like it... "The market place in which we operate continues to be extremely competitive although the emergence of competition from European manufacturers has eased due to the current strength of the Euro against sterling. 25/5/2010 08:29 | Add back the one off costs of director remuneration and these did well over 22p eps. The forward forecast of 23p looks very conservative imo. CR | cockneyrebel
25/5/2010 07:54 | Pretty stunning performance in this market. Near 8p final divi. 23p eps forecast for the coming year. £2m cash, £2m property - trading under NAV with a mkt cap of under £4m. Been buying back shares too - has the cash to buy back half the shares. Very Cheap imo. CR | cockneyrebel
13/5/2010 08:12 | LS Lowry Not many matchstick men down my High Street, but plenty who've been at the pies. | mustbefunny |
