Director appointment - correction

The following replaces the Director Appointment announcement released on 4
August 2006 at 5.15pm under RNS number 3011H

KP Renewables plc ("KPR" or the "Company"), the AIM-quoted, UK aggregator,
investor, and developer of independent green energy projects, is pleased to
announce the appointment of Paul Goodrow as Finance Director with immediate
effect.

The Company announced Robert Smyth's intention to resign as Finance Director on
7 June 2006. As a result of Paul's appointment, Robert will step down
immediately. The Board would like to thank Robert for his contribution to the
Company.

William Paul Goodrow C.A. (57) is a senior financial executive, who has been
under contract to provide corporate finance, corporate planning and financial
administrative services to Kwikpower International plc and its subsidiaries
since December 2004. His previous positions include Vice President of Corporate
Development with Pearson BioEnergy, Inc., director and senior officer of Madison
Partners Inc and Chief Financial Officer of Hariston Corporation. Mr Goodrow is
a chartered accountant, having trained with Clarkson Gordon in Hamilton, Ontario
(now Ernst & Young) and is currently a Director of Corporate Capital Group Ltd,
Pearson BioEnergy Inc., Kwikpower International plc and KP Wellman Ltd.

Paul Goodrow was previously a director of Madison Partners Limited which entered
into a voluntary arrangement with its creditors in 1994. He was also a director
of GroWmax Systems Inc. which entered into a voluntary arrangement with its
creditors in 2001.

No further information falls to be disclosed under the AIM rules.
