23/8/2010 14:53 | Prices bid 10.25p offer 10.5p, 1 v 1 - looks like a falling FDI price is pulling at Kopane | giant steps

19/8/2010 11:57 | yep now is the time final countdown if no counter offer then done deal | pembury
19/8/2010 11:51 | So......the 28 day counter offer period is up (28 calender days) or is it 28 working days? Straws and clutching come to mind but after 9 months I've had my fill of these now! | b m n 1
18/8/2010 21:52 | debbie my love. It's ok, you can share in my profits when these hit £1. xx | half a scargill
18/8/2010 21:36 | debbiegee. I sort of get the feeling that what you've done is exactly what some quarters are after. Just simply picking up cheap shares. Best of luck. | devil20

12/8/2010 16:23 | Wendy, Are you in CDN? | andy
12/8/2010 10:41 | You reckon pi are selling FDI and buying KDD instead knowing its a better deal | mickieblue
09/8/2010 09:23 | Yes you have a point re the 'type of investor' mostly laddies trading momentum and charts over a few days. But I can also point that finger at the Venture exchange in Vancouver. As we know, different rulse apply to Canadian listeds, lots of insiders trading etc. Also many short term traders. And when there is a winter rally in miners on AIM, the Canadians have end of year tax date and take money off the table in December. Separately, mid August is a good time to build up mining holdings in small companies generally ( eg see the CDNX chart). | hectorp
09/8/2010 07:29 | A common thread runs through all of those, jimmyjagger, with the exception of African Diamonds (about which I disagree with you!) - alluvials. Horrid things, alluvials. Nugget effect on steroids and notoriously difficult. Kimberlites are child's play by comparison. I see your point, hector - AIM would probably have to be tolerated for some investments. But it isn't really the exchange itself which is the problem - it's the nature of most of the people investing in juniors these days. And MML's move to the main market won't cure that... | wdurham
08/8/2010 19:41 | Decent diamond juniors on AIM? Surely some mistake FDI and KDD both debatable, MWA bought out a couple of diamond co's (Gravity Diamonds, SouthernEra Diamonds) but has done nothing with them, Klipspringer mine makes barely £1m a year in sales. African Diamonds a Teeling flop, Brazilian Diamonds delisted, Dwyka Diamonds was another flop now peddling gold. West African Diamonds another one spun into Stellar Diamonds a few months ago and already 50% down. Sierra Leone Diamonds another dud, talked up its alluvials like they were sliced bread, poured tens of millions down the pit then few years later offloaded the assets to Frank's Obtala for a pittance after revaluing the book value to £4m from £15m. A sorry bunch indeed | jimmyjagger
08/8/2010 19:28 | Wendy, when MML go to the main market, in September, you will be able to enjoy an investment there. I think you d0 have a point about AIM. I have moved most of my holdings to Torronto and Oz based offerings for the past 18 months. But there is still no alternative in Britain regarding various decent gold and diamond issues, to some AIM investing. H. | hectorp

08/8/2010 19:24 | My take is that at the current , late in the day position, anyone shorting these stocks is quite ignorant. | hectorp
07/8/2010 20:03 | GS- Combined FDI/KDD cash position confirmed by KDD | pembury
07/8/2010 19:50 | Wendy, Some of us have helf for 10 years, there ares till SOME investors left! With regards to financing, FDI informed that they were financed to production at BK11 for around a year, then raised £12 million in a discounted placing! Now this fiasco, and I know one or two that are very disillusioned with management there, I can assure you! I think FDi had a very loyal group of shreholders | andy
07/8/2010 18:58 | I assumed they'd be looking for funds to develop the Main Pipe but seeing as its on the back burner until at least 2012 I guess they can continue to plod along for a bit As for cash they'll have about £5m by the time the deal goes through | jimmyjagger
07/8/2010 18:44 | jimmyjagger - Nice try but that won't be the case according to Kenny, already spoke to him. They will not be doing any fund raising. I think they have about GBP12m cash and the potential to farmout some of the 75% and with that carried through development phases. | pembury |
