India remains second-largest internet market

GLOBAL: China is by far the largest internet market in the world with 721m users, but India has now overtaken the US to become the worlds second largest market with 333m, according to a new report from the United Nations.

India also recently overtook the US to become the second-largest smartphone market in the world, with an estimated 260m mobile broadband subscriptions, said the UN Broadband Commission for Sustainable Development.

Boohoo stealing the show at present im afraid that will account for some of the quietness. This is at an earlier stage of development but given who the directors are and their history of success in business this will be a riser in years to come in theory. Clearer picture on next set of financials really. Cant speculate much until then.

AGM in November. Will be there & hoping to meet Lord Waheed Alli & Mary Turner, when the next stage of Fund raising should have sorted out.Got a great feeling about this one.

Bought here at 30 to sell at 90, but i am coming back in tommorow. Feel the company is getting into a better place. Is the AGM this side of Christmas?

Thanks, ah yes a placing. I guess this is the start for this company. If they grow this in the right way, maybe a buy out could happen at 500 million mcap if someone wants them.

There was a trading update only last week!The next bit of news should be about the Autumn placing- how many shares & at what price?Should be plenty of interest like last time around.

I did notice that retail expert Paul Scott has toned down his language towards holders here. What he fails to see is what is actually going on in India.Because of his blinkered vision, this could become one of his biggest investing mistakes since he sold his ASOS holding at 9p, losing a potential £30 million pounds...

My guess is that funding will be at least 85p and HT Media will take a big chunk!

As an early stage business, we are a little way off organic growth & I for one accept that much more funding is required.Any thoughts on a placing price?I'm sure it will be the same loyal Institutions as before like HT Media.
