So they'll take 50,000 shares but can't buy 10 without it going to market!!

Alarm bells are ringing Willy!!

The best way to buy KOOV is through limit order, as they have to sell you at least 3000 shares on current ASK price.

This is heading towards £1+

Serious shortage of stock. My broker could only get me £1500 worth and I had to pay over the quoted price....and it also moved the price up. Happy days.

Harebridg, I've been to Gurgaon many times and have seen it turn into vibrant city with property prices screaming up. They have some of the worlds biggest and best shopping malls, which are nearly always full.

Koovs is my long term hold share ( 5 years ) and think this could easily trade above £5 during that period!

Hi Market Master & thanks for keeping an eye on your thread.I've noticed now for several trading sessions that I could literally only buy 100 shares, but they were willing to take tranches of 20,000 a time off me.They must be seriously short of stock.Still keep in touch with ex Indian colleagues, one of whom works in Gurgaon- near where Koovs are based in India. It's a very middle class city, a kind of financial/ business hub not far from Delhi.Although he doesn't know anything about Koovs, he says he can see the country rapidly changing. The working population are hard working & dedicated in seeing their country moving forward.

Currently can't buy any KOOV stock online but can sell large amounts above bid. Looks like it's getting ready for next wave and run up to £1+

Indian Ecommerce Market to Reach $220 Billion by 2025

Aug 29, 2016 1:49 PM By MCM Staff

A report by Bank of America Merrill Lynch in 2015 projected the Indian ecommerce market will reach $220 billion by 2025. This growth is said to be driven by factors such as a young demographic profile, increasing internet penetration and relative better economic performance.

According to eMarketer, global ecommerce sales are estimated to reach $1.89 trillion in 2016, representing 7.4% of overall retail sales.

An excellent read on why foreign investment is pouring into the largest growing major economy on earth in Amazon, Apple, H&M, Zara etc

Mary Turner, former Asos director and boss of one of India's biggest fashion etailers Koovs, "In any emerging economy, whether it is in a mature or developing market, you see early innovators coming in and recognising that the population or infrastructure isn't ready – it then learns what needs to be developed and it comes back and kicks off""That economic growth has been fuelled by reform of Foreign Direct Investment laws and government policies aimed at promoting new business and furthering the tech industry. And behind it is an unusual population dynamic: 65% of India's 1.3 billion population is under the age of 35. The median age is 29."Much of that youthful population falls into an aspirational bracket. While the development of India's complex class system is difficult to predict, its "middle class", across all ages, currently numbers between 250 million and 300 million – and is set to soar to 547 million by 2025, according to McKinsey.""At Apple's shareholder conference this year, boss Tim Cook revealed Apple's launch in India, saying that while iPhone sales in the developed world were flat during 2015, India saw a 76% rise.""Apple is not the only tech player to single out India. In June, etail giant Amazon unveiled its pledge to pump an extra $3bn into the country, aiming to capitalise on the growing number of internet users. That $3bn is on top of the $2bn already set out in 2014."At the time chief executive Jeff Bezos said: "I can assure you it's only the beginning and, as we say in Amazon, it's only day one."He added that India was Amazon's fastest-growing territory and that its investment was designed to help start-ups and accelerate India's role as an innovation hub by driving digital entrepreneurship.H&M has already said that it wants to be the country's number-one fashion retailer. And it's off to a good start – the first customer through its doors in Delhi queued for 36 hoursWhile India has some way to go before it becomes a must for expanding global retailers, far-reaching policy changes coupled with an increasingly young, wealthy and urban population means that opportunities for retailers will get ever greater.
