05/10/2012 11:24 | this is becoming a very interesting "troll free" company, with the first phase of exploration a fabulous success JPRL must be near to being self funding, and with more drilling to come and conversion to 25 year production license sure to follow then a re rating must also be on the card. i suppose the question is "what does the future hold?"... are JPRL intending to spread their wings into other regions or will they get gobbled up by a bigger fish? | excellance
05/10/2012 10:50 | excellent record with the drill... | excellance

09/5/2012 13:22 | From the CPR they need $30mn for development in 2012 looking around June/July to tap the markets but at current market cap £40mn that is a 50% dilution, fund raising might start to get a little difficult from here on in. | liquidkid
27/4/2012 09:18 | At least AIM, as taken the news positively, but not to the extent so far that such news warrants. A 5-6p rise would be a true reflection of the news. Looking back, On test J-50 oil sold at $22.50 at the wellhead, J-52 achieved $32 (or there abouts), J-51 managed a price of $42. So trial production at $52 net after transportation and storage costs is fabulous. I'm sure all the company's that issue re-search reports will be significantly upgrading there valuation of the company in light of this news. The shares are an absolute steal at this price on a 18 month to 2 year view point. LOTM | lastof themohicans
27/4/2012 01:49 | Good News overnight It will take a little while for them to get to 600 bopd, as they need to build up the flow rates especially of J-52 to the maximum allowed without damaging the formation. This is really a great result, I was hoping from when they said that they were doing the initial transportation and storage that they might have got the true sales price up to maybe $48-50 a barrel. Which in itself would have been a good result compared to sales from J-51 @ $42 a barrel, but to be getting $52 is magic and pre-paid too. That works out at 44% of the current price of brent crude, all the research reports I remember reading were talking about domestic sales only yielding about 30-33% of the price of a barrel of brent. This will make a big difference to cash-flow and ease any immediate cash issues. Hopefully they will be able to sell the oil from J-53 test production on the same terms. :) :) Foundations are getting stronger by the day. For any one serious about investing in this company I'd suggest you look at the following 2 documents as well, yes they are a little out of date but give you a good idea of the potential here. The first gives you the reserve numbers as they were last year, with 1P of 9.8MMBO, 2P of 24.2MMBO and 3P of 32.05MMBO I expect the new reserve report which will be out in Q2 will show that the 1P number is up to around 17.5MMBO and the 2P is up to 36MMBO and the 3P to 45MMBO. Which makes the company's value unbelieveably cheap. This report I find the most informative of all and hope they will do an updated version in the near future based on the latest information. It was done pre the 15:1 share consolidation LOTM | lastof themohicans
24/4/2012 12:02 | Jupiter Energy (LON:JPRL, ASX:JPR) said it is about to sign sales agreements with "at least two" local partners as trial production begins from its first wells in Kazakhstan. | lucky_punter
24/4/2012 06:56 | Today's announcement puts in place the first real foundations for the company. Now it is able to produce oil from 2 of its wells with governmental approval. Thus reducing the political risk attached to the company and its shares. The next step is to sign deals to sell the oil into the domestic market and to do so and bank the cash. Onwards and upwards Loyal Shareholders should get a very good return on their investment over the next 2 years. As the company moves to an oil producer & exporter. LOTM | lastof themohicans
