29/9/2016 15:29 | 7th June "The Company is also in advanced discussions with an offtake partner for the HPI powder, which, on finalisation, will complete the Company’s objective of securing agreements across the Project’s three products" Over three months later... we've been Amerisured (I'm sure they're adding that to the Oxford English this year). | al101uk
29/9/2016 15:01 | Imminent? Oh God, please no! | bigwavedave
29/9/2016 14:51 | Didn't we have an imminent off take agreement for our HPI? I suspected that until that was signed we wouldn't get the finance deal. | al101uk
29/9/2016 14:12 | It's the lack of Finance news which is causing the share price to drift lower. It would be nice to at least be given an update but thats not the style of Management here. Just like at Amerisur we have to be patient.Would not surprise me if we have to wait until early next year for Finance news. | underhill2
29/9/2016 13:44 | Taking on £ 45 worth of stock was all too much for one Market Maker this afternoon. Down went their bid price. | orange1
09/9/2016 10:57 | I would like to think that funding will be announced before the end of October and construction contracts signed soon after. If not, then I don't know when, as this has dragged on so long. | mouse20
09/9/2016 10:39 | paleje, I'm looking at a portfolio where all of my holdings other that IRON and AMER are 10% plus up, the majority of those have been held since Brexit (so not long). IRON and AMER have been in my portfolio for far too long and are both approaching 10% down. Both look like the could do extremely well for me, both give the impression that it's just a matter of dotting the i's and crossing the t's, but both have serially failed to deliver. I still live in hope. In other news I decided to take a look at our consultants, there are three listed on the IRON website, I can't say I was impressed with Sipho Mkhize who's tenure at PetroSA wan't exactly without controversy. He was sacked under a cloud of suspected corruption, although he took legal action and a deal was done behind closed doors, so we'll never know what really happened. hxxp://www.moneyweb. You got a nice bounce in KENV :-) | al101uk
05/9/2016 15:21 | I'd like to say glad I'm not the only one but that wouldn't sound quite as I meant it:) OT - I can give a small bright note re the KENV investment, al101uk, inasmuch that I contacted P Hibberd after the change of plan/fundraise...he answered all my questions plainly and confirmed stockpiling of ore while work in progress, fully funded now through to cashflow and lithium is battery quality. His reason for the low ball fundraise was just a fob which I won't print, no point, but I suspect the low price was just for some to make easy money. I think they'll all come through but it's a ball ache at times. | paleje
05/9/2016 13:07 | Agree with most of the comments here. I made a decision a while ago to get out of Amerisur at 36p. You can't wait forever for Management to deliver on its promises. I just have my holding in Ironveld now but news is so slow. We should have heard about the financing arrangements by now. With my investment here Im happy to hold but as always with any GC company you need a considerable amount of patience. Ironveld has always been a speculative investment. Nothing has changed. As with all GC companies the small private Investor is not fed lots of news. | underhill2
05/9/2016 09:24 | Paleje, Hold two, researched the other and have to say I completely agree with you. Been around GC for years and to be honest I'm assessing exit strategies at the moment. I think looking at KENV was the straw that broke the camels back. The RNS history on when the mine would be producing and cash flow positive is shocking and I reproduced it on the AMER thread for consolation if nothing else. IRON shareholders certainly aren't on their own, if anything the promises here aren't quite as broken as the ones elsewhere. | al101uk
03/9/2016 10:59 | Dandan, the financing will be by way of a loan that is repaid over 7 years. The first 2 years are a grace period so no payments made!May need a placing to cover working capital. | tommygriff
03/9/2016 00:51 | Trouble is, you don't know whether they issued at that price 'by agreement', bearing in mind they are allegedly at an advanced fund raise stage. They have previously issued paper for services at a higher price....but logically, if all is going well and as advanced as they have led us to believe, surely the issue of paper price would be getting higher not lower. I'm afraid GC chairs 3 quoted companies which all seem to suffer to varying degrees from the same malaise of poor or misleading communication and looking after insiders at the expense of ordinary shareholders. I'm not saying any of them won't do ok, just that they will do more ok for some than others. I hold all 3 just for the record but relying on information provided by RNS would not have helped in making good decisions. I'm sure I'm not the only one. | paleje
02/9/2016 11:13 | Surely we will get some news this month,as if not it would be a full quarter late I think. | annie38
02/9/2016 09:46 | I just took 100,000 shares on the same rationale. | mouse20
02/9/2016 09:41 | Topped up - if the contractors are happy to take stock at 5.75p I am happy to be buying sub 5p! | callumross
23/8/2016 12:25 | And Mrs Clarke holds as well at least nominally .... | orange1
23/8/2016 12:16 | With Giles Clarke holding 5.4% of this Co. (Currently worth £812k)already at a substantial loss, I would suspect that he will for obvious reasons be using what influence he has to get any placing off the ground at a decent price. | annie38
22/8/2016 14:42 | Meanwhile... | bigwavedave
22/8/2016 11:21 | My guess is around 200m shares at around 5 to 6p raising £10-£12m with the remaining £30m on debt. The cashflow profile once operational is pretty impressive with debt being paid down very quickly. | callumross
22/8/2016 09:41 | The BEE funding is in place, The fund raising is due to be majority debt based and I assume they won't do a placing until after the debt is in place. The price of the placing is likely to be dictated by the terms on debt. It could be that once the loan is in place, the share price gets a boost and the placing comes in at or around the price settled at. The share is illiquid, any buying will see us flying so short term I'm happy and may trade the spike. I have no doubt that Giles will execute and we will have a smelter (timescales are another matter), so long term I'm also reasonably content. Medium term, following the debt and until we know the placing price, I'm expecting a bit of a roller coaster ride. I don't think anyone can predict any future placing price right now, but thinking about 10p seems over optimistic to me at this stage. | al101uk
22/8/2016 09:15 | I got the impression that they need to raise $55m for that smelter before they will produce that valuable iron powder. With an share price of 5p and an Mcap of £16.9m that will be an estimated share price dilution of 3.25 times IMO. Will they issue a cash call for shares at something like 1.5p next or get to issue warrants at a lower 1p price to their City finance friends. This will be an interesting act to watch. 26% BEE funding, do they have these funds available? It is great having a wish list but 'walking the cash talk' is much harder especially in SA. The vision of creating 3000 jobs in Limpopo has to be admired but getting the funds is very near impossible, especially as you may have to wait over 3 years before you get a return. Come on Giles announce your funding deal and the price you have to pay...... GLA. | dandadandan
22/8/2016 09:12 | Nope. I've been fretting about the recent KENV fund raising with the same board and at a hefty discount. Hoping there is no read across here. | al101uk |
