02/9/2016 11:13 | Surely we will get some news this month,as if not it would be a full quarter late I think. | annie38
02/9/2016 09:46 | I just took 100,000 shares on the same rationale. | mouse20
02/9/2016 09:41 | Topped up - if the contractors are happy to take stock at 5.75p I am happy to be buying sub 5p! | callumross
23/8/2016 12:25 | And Mrs Clarke holds as well at least nominally .... | orange1
23/8/2016 12:16 | With Giles Clarke holding 5.4% of this Co. (Currently worth £812k)already at a substantial loss, I would suspect that he will for obvious reasons be using what influence he has to get any placing off the ground at a decent price. | annie38
22/8/2016 14:42 | Meanwhile... | bigwavedave
22/8/2016 11:21 | My guess is around 200m shares at around 5 to 6p raising £10-£12m with the remaining £30m on debt. The cashflow profile once operational is pretty impressive with debt being paid down very quickly. | callumross
22/8/2016 09:41 | The BEE funding is in place, The fund raising is due to be majority debt based and I assume they won't do a placing until after the debt is in place. The price of the placing is likely to be dictated by the terms on debt. It could be that once the loan is in place, the share price gets a boost and the placing comes in at or around the price settled at. The share is illiquid, any buying will see us flying so short term I'm happy and may trade the spike. I have no doubt that Giles will execute and we will have a smelter (timescales are another matter), so long term I'm also reasonably content. Medium term, following the debt and until we know the placing price, I'm expecting a bit of a roller coaster ride. I don't think anyone can predict any future placing price right now, but thinking about 10p seems over optimistic to me at this stage. | al101uk
22/8/2016 09:15 | I got the impression that they need to raise $55m for that smelter before they will produce that valuable iron powder. With an share price of 5p and an Mcap of £16.9m that will be an estimated share price dilution of 3.25 times IMO. Will they issue a cash call for shares at something like 1.5p next or get to issue warrants at a lower 1p price to their City finance friends. This will be an interesting act to watch. 26% BEE funding, do they have these funds available? It is great having a wish list but 'walking the cash talk' is much harder especially in SA. The vision of creating 3000 jobs in Limpopo has to be admired but getting the funds is very near impossible, especially as you may have to wait over 3 years before you get a return. Come on Giles announce your funding deal and the price you have to pay...... GLA. | dandadandan
22/8/2016 09:12 | Nope. I've been fretting about the recent KENV fund raising with the same board and at a hefty discount. Hoping there is no read across here. | al101uk
21/8/2016 23:47 | Has there been any likely price suggested anywhere for the fundraising? 10p would be good... but is it realistic with the share price at 5p? | cyberbub
19/8/2016 19:13 | judging by the interview the haven't tournned the sod yet on the smelter. thanks for info | friars3
18/8/2016 15:03 | Thanks for that Clarke link Dave. | paleje
18/8/2016 14:15 | ... and wait | al101uk
18/8/2016 14:15 | Thanks for that bwd! Had to laugh at the answer to the question "what do you do?"... the answer was all about what we have and what we will do... what we do is sit and wait... and wait... and wait. At least he said that the investment would be the biggest UK investment in South Africa this year... that's right folks only four a and a bit months to wait. Very advanced discussions with potential fund providers, but he didn't use the "i" word. ... and wait... and wait... and wait... | al101uk
18/8/2016 13:11 | I'd prefer it if he did a chat about the other one, Val. In Spanish and English. Let's hope it's not too imminent. | bigwavedave
18/8/2016 12:46 | I wonder if he'll get round to doing one on production, Dave? | valentine
18/8/2016 12:27 | Did he say anything interesting? | orange1
03/8/2016 23:09 | then we will see the share price move. good news | friars3
01/8/2016 22:31 | An Rn on the plant should be out soon | friars3
01/8/2016 18:56 | Thanks for info | friars3
01/8/2016 12:08 | It's a Giles Clarke company. He has little regard for the retail investor. He doesn't stick to timelines and he doesn't do RNSs unless he has to. | bigwavedave
31/7/2016 22:55 | I don't think anyone knows. Originally it was meant to be late last year. Then the plans changed to this year. The funding has been in advanced stages for several months now. It was meant to be sorted by now, and as it hasn't, I expect smelter will now be pushed to next year. It would be nice to get an update from management but that's not really their style. The management know what they're doing but these things take time. So patience is needed. | sabzahmed
31/7/2016 21:20 | it meant to bee second half 2016 ! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! | friars3 |
