11/3/2015 15:17 | Pretty good traffic to the Iomart tiki hut at CloudExpo. It's certainly visually arresting, whether it's generating any business I couldn't tell you. | tomrob
10/3/2015 13:05 | Duplicated | gerri-c
09/3/2015 10:11 | Sticking with the tech theme, Spooner picks out cloud computing specialist Iomart as a decent long term holding. Shares in the company, which has a market cap of £220m, have fallen over recent months thanks to weaker than expected growth and a failed take-over bid, but Spooner says this is an exciting business to play the rise in cloud computing. | hutch_pod
23/2/2015 12:59 | "When a company gets bid for and then it is turned down, it's amazing how often said company falls to a bid again at some point in the future. I've had quite a few of these in particular Kentz where I made many thousands. Iomart (IOM) where I made quite a bit when it was bid for before managing to sell before the bid fell through I think is one of those and been building a stake in it. It's six months since the last bid for it and it would be little surprise to see another one come along - the last bid interest was around the 300p mark and I suspect the company could be bought for that. Or 270 will do! Hell, I'll take 250 ! So I have bought a few more IOM, and noted the price has been steadily rising since it hit around 170. Looks like others feel the same! Even if it isn't bid for it seems to be reasonably priced around 2 quid. I hope to hold now and be patient." | protean
23/2/2015 12:28 | I'm expecting an other bid sooner rather than later hopefully above the 300p bid last time | stardrops2
23/2/2015 12:02 | Chunky trades today too. | hutch_pod
23/2/2015 11:29 | Ahhhhh.............t | soundbuy
23/2/2015 10:28 | Tosca buying | pollnagorm
19/2/2015 19:54 | RB bought more looking towards another T/O it seems. | pollnagorm
18/2/2015 09:52 | Any serious interest in this would take us quickly back to the 250p mark methinks. IOM has been very quiet on their strategy since the bid failure, I think a major announcement on realigning business is in order. | kattatogaru
12/2/2015 12:55 | Well, around 10% of the co. traded this week, so holding RNSs in due course...... | soundbuy
12/2/2015 11:09 | Wouldn't pay too much attention to what the media say about overhang clearances. Last one I had a go at on an overhang clearance was ARW and it has only risen about 3.5%. Usually get a significant re-rating on a true overhang clearance. Booked a quick 6% here. Hopefully more to come for holders (like a nice chunky bid), but just be careful of that outlook statement - leaves it open for another downgrade of earnings. | sphere25
12/2/2015 10:22 | FT says stock overhang cleared | raysor

11/2/2015 16:34 | What's up here - big volume. Takeover? | richtea1701
11/2/2015 16:00 | Personally i think the fact that the 6 month period is ending soon, is why were rising | stardrops2
11/2/2015 14:51 | Gone long for a trade here. Despite the wishy washy outlook statement, some heavy interest in the stock today (post TCY) and the chart appears to have made a decisive move. Singer were right about private equity interest. "Oversold on 5.9x EV/EBITDA cal’15 – Whilst there are risks to the business given the evolving landscape, iomart is not without resources to adapt and remains a highly profitable and cash generative business. We also believe private equity interest will remain high in this area. We set a target price based on 8.5x EV/EBITDA for cal’15, giving a target price of 242p and upgrade to Buy" The 6 month period for Host lapses next month, but unsure whether they'd come back to the table - any thoughts? | sphere25
11/2/2015 08:39 | Interesting times for TCY , I reckon some form of deal will back on for IOM in due course. | cloudwars
11/2/2015 07:22 | I know I should have looked at this earlier instead of the Roulette wheel. | pollnagorm
10/2/2015 11:17 | Nice volume already today, someone know something? | rovers2
04/2/2015 17:54 | Agree Victor a nice quiet board no mad rampers or derampers | stardrops2
04/2/2015 16:59 | Ok thanks, it wouldn't be the 1st time mm's lower the price to fill a big buy order. The next update should prove interesting. A nice quiet board here :-) | victor1971
04/2/2015 16:49 | i don't i was speculating | stardrops2 |
