The other big news during FY15 was the potential acquisition of iomart by Host Europe. As it happened, talks were terminated in September. iomart’s CEO, Angus MacSween, subsequently told us that a formal offer was never made and that the companies were “a million miles away from getting a deal done”. Nonetheless, we believe iomart remains an obvious target for takeover.

Agreed, next set of results will be the deciding factor over short term T/O chances , also think physical data storage locations will come more to the fore in regard to security / borders etc , could work in our favour. Interesting sector ever evolving , are we the chosen ones or will the big boys steam roll us, the former I hope .

Judging by the mood post the non bid last year, I would be surprised if Host were to consider returning to the table and if they did management is unlikely to accept them with open arms.

This has been stagnant for a while bit I think it may be time to jump in again here, may go down a bit but I think it is time. I have also been watching Provexis psx and believe it is time for that one too. DYOR
