Could not have been much worse; as at the end of the month we will have no FD and no replacement found…I guess the CEO wants to understand the situation before making such a key appointment.
I can live with a downturn in trading…the increase in costs of the exited businesses is more difficult for me to swallow especially as my reading of the verbal and body language in the webcasts of the interims was that Ringrose/Heywood said under control.
Can understand that with reduced trading their working capital position may be such that they can meet their banking covenants this year but an equity raise seems necessary-FD or no FD.

I've bought a small stake only to give me an interest here, but will increase when there's a clear trend reversal.

Need to put the EfW to bed really

Starting to think that £1 maybe possible? Apart from dan does anyone think that's possible?

Harsh, Dan. There are many cases of CEO's not being up to the job and receiving payoffs for failure after a very short time, but Adrian Ringrose has put in 15 years during which he hasn't put a foot wrong until tripping up over the waste-for-energy contract. I, for one, don't begrudge him his payoff.

Interesting that this share keeps falling slowly rather then sharply falling to find its "correct" levelInteresting news today. Huge golden hello for new CEO. This follows large payment to ex (and failed) CEO. I know the payment to ex CEO was his contractual entitlement but reward for failure springs to mind.

Could someone explain the holding RNS? Just a change in the breakdown of the two holdings between CFDs and shares?

Give it a few years and it will be £5-6 range.

lots of clues though that this will turn at this point. ie:

1) short percentage is very low
2) Lots of funds have been adding recently
3) No bad news in the latest RNS

Nothing is ever certain in this market. But this looks a good turn around story IMO

160p or thereabouts appears to be long term support. I bought an initial tranche of these today. It looks an interesting recovery play.
